“I recently enjoyed two rounds on two separate days at this nice and historic course.
Prior to visiting town for training I came across the Oak Knoll Country Club, which is managed by Bloom Golf, as is my home country club.
I reached out to the club and spoke with Head Pro Barrett Carter and planned a visit. Upon my arrival at Oak Knoll, I was greeted by the friendly staff in the well equipped club house. I was then met by Mr. Carter who showed me around, informed me that the course was undergoing repairs/renovations, and sent me out to start my round. The carts were very nice and up to date, well maintained, and stocked with sand and tees. The course offered a smooth flow, yet challenging layout. The fairways were in good condition as were the outlying areas, being clean and open for easy recovery of an off track tee shot. Green side areas were well playable for short approach. Bunkers were maintained. The greens had seen a lot of ongoing repairs and work (recently sanded), but still provided a decent and consistent roll.
When I returned for my next round, I was recognized and again greeted in the clubhouse. I booked a tee time and enjoyed a range session prior to play. The range offered both mat and grassed tee box area. This round, I found the greens to be in enhanced conditions from the previous round, as a reflection of the improvement efforts.
After my second round, the clubhouse and dining areas were filled with families and guests enjoying the social “steak night” meal, who were also very friendly to those passing through.
Aside from the golf experience, the remaining clubhouse was very nice and clean, as was the pool and tennis areas.
Bottom line, I will definitely return to Oak Knoll when in the area.”

“We came in on Friday night as a group of 8. The staff was great and very informative when it came to explaining the attractions and rules. We played a few rounds of laser tag and our older kids did the ropes course. The arcade offered a good amount of games as well. We really enjoyed ourselves here. It’s a great family attraction.”
