HAMMOND, LA location On Saturday 5/14/22 a customer with Intellectual Disabilities walked in with her caregiver for a haircut. Immediately after signing in, the manager (who did not greet the customer nor her caregiver) stated "we are not cutting 5-6 of them today!" Obviously, the caregiver was confused since she only walked in with one individual. The caregiver explained to the manager that she was only there to get services for one customer, however the manager continued to rant about "these group homes bringing 5-6 people at a time". The customer who has intellectual disabilities became very upset. The caregiver was able to calm the customer down and also reported the details to a Supervisor. When the supervisor arrived, she asked for the manager. The Supervisor of the Caregiver asked for the details regarding what had taken place and again the manager began to say that "we cannot cut 5-6 people at a time" PLEASE NOTE: At no point was there ever 5-6 people looking to get a haircut and there was only one other customer at the time waiting with 3 stylists working. It just seems that the establishment acted in an extremely unprofessional manner and unfortunately probably lost the business of these people as well as my business. I was the other customer who was there waiting and after seeing the way this manager handled these people, I will never return. Using words like "them, those people, you people, etc" is very distasteful when referring to anyone with disabilities. The manager's treatment was uncalled for and quite belittling not to mention, we were never able to determine who the 5-6 people were that she kept referencing and this particular customer was not apart of any group home per the Supervisor. In a profession such as this, all people should be treated fairly and with no biases, especially when they are paying for a service. Signed- A potential customer who won't be back.

I had my long hair, a grow out after chemo, cut here yesterday. As a recently retired licensed barber myself, I haven't had much experience outside of my own salon. Cathy was my stylist and she made sure I was comfortable because this was a spur of the moment decision. When I found out she had studied at a Roffler Hair Design Academy I knew I had made a great decision. She gave me a great shampoo and cut. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair so far. And at $22 for a complete service!!!! My only regret is that I didn't tip her enough. Thanks Cathy!! You rock!

1 i did not know what i wanted i was picky it had to match my round face but be short and the lady helped me figure something out 2 they were social 3 i felt at home 4 i LOVE my new hair cutServices: Hairstyling
