This is my favorite Capital One Bank in the area, there is always parking and minimal wait time to see a teller. Also I like the fact that I can sit at one of the tables and review or sort any paperwork on my visit.

Capital One without cause and negligently froze my and my wife's multiple accounts without any notice to either of us...no email, no text, no phone calls. I've been a customer of Capital One for decades. We currently and have maintained balances in six figures. Their lack of communication in this matter is appalling and totally unacceptable. Capital one was GROSSLY NEGLEGENT in the design and use of their algorithm, their failure to communicate to us that they froze our multiple accounts and in their devising a standard operating procedure that walls off customers from dispute resolution, determining who caused the situation, damage to me and my wife and preventing the customer from speaking with bank employees with authority to correct situations. The matter remains unresolved. The result was they returned one of my checks and did not honor my autopayment for my utility bill (the utility charged me a $20.00 insufficient funds charge). I strongly suspect there will be more autopayments and checks not honored The returned/not honored check was for the purchase of a new sport utility van...tens of thousands dollars. The dealership called me up and effectively said I bounced a check. I'm 73 years old and never bounced a check in my life...and this was no little check. Sufficient funds were in my account. Capital one's erroneous freeze of my funds caused both returned/not honored payments. My reputation is damaged. My credit rating will be affected. My wife discovered there was a problem when she attempted to make a transfer between two of our joint accounts. She saw a message that said, "funds were not available for withdrawal." I called customer service and learned the bank had put a freeze on approximately 6 joint accounts (without notice to us!). Of note, I did receive an email about the check to the automobile dealer saying it looked suspicious but it specifically said "you do not have to call if the transaction is valid." I didn't call. They still decided not to honor that substantial check. Bank customer service said the freeze was the result of bank transfers we had made (which we have done for years) without issue. A bank algorithm froze my account! A machine with faulty programing! No bank individual was involved in the decision to freeze our account. After speaking to 3 different representatives the freeze was lifted (the freeze was automatically generated by a bank algorithm. The algorithm could erroneously freeze my account but not see to it that we were contacted and advised of the situation. Of note, had not my wife tried to make the transfer and our subsequent call to customer service who knows how many denied withdrawals would have occurred. In fact, I suspect there are more than the two I'm currently aware of. It gets worse. I asked (demanded) customer service write a letter to the dealership stating the bank erred in freezing the funds and that funds were in fact available to cover the substantial check in an effort to repair my damaged reputation (writing bad checks). Customer service couldn't do it. A manager told me they would refer the situation to another department. The manager said she could not tell me the name of the department, she could not give me a name of a person it was going to, and she could not give me a phone number to call that department. She said "the bank will get back to me." I have no confidence that the bank will get back to me. This bank has been entrusted with billions of dollars of depositor monies. Scary. Customers cannot talk to anyone in the bank other than customer service. Customer service cannot resolve the problem. I'm truly shocked with the way Capital One has denied the customer the ability to speak to anyone other than customer service! Customers are walled off, responsible bank employees hide behind the banks created firewalls. What we have is a real world Catch 22. I'll be filing a civil action against the bank for damages to my credit rating, for actual monetary damages and for damages to my

The most unwelcoming bank I've ever visited. Not a friendly face around. I'm glad this is not my bank and I'd never recommend it to anyone else either

This branch is so inefficient I'm in car line right now and I'll be here for at least another 20 mins. They have 3 lanes but only 2 open and each lane has 5 cars. If this was the first time this happened I wouldn't worry but it's like this Every.Single.Time. This branch clearly doesn't care about its customers and I will be changing banks soon.

The Harahan loc is the closest branch to me. I can't stand going in there to do anything. I avoid at all cost. Usually use ATM. The frustration is trying to take out more cash from my account and being denied due to their limit rules. I either have to go into lobby or use drive through, which i did today I enclosed all documents as i'm suppose to. On the withdrawl slip i indicated by an arrow to look on back for the breakdown of how i wanted my cash back. This is the 2nd time they didn't look or even ask me for how i wanted the cash back. They gave me what they wanted. Not even noticing i had just used the ATM which spits out only 20's. I sent it back, waited til she answered and told her they totally disregarded the breakdown. She had annoyance in her voice and was getting ready to have me fill out a sheet. Told her to pull out the withdrawl sheet fill it from there. She kept me sitting there about 5 6 minutes. I don't care for this location. I normall use the Airline Hwy loc. In Metairie but i was short on time. Airline is shutting that location down. Wish it was Elmwood. Very uncaring and unfriendly people.

Been waiting over 30 minutes to do a simple name change. Two customers were in front of me as I arrived and both have since walked out in disgust with the customer service. I still have yet to even be acknowledged. We will for sure be taking my business elsewhere once my husband gets back in to town.

This was my first time visiting this location, and I noticed that it was bigger than the one near my house. I needed a little help, and a young man quickly helped me. When I got to the teller, the transaction was quickly, and the teller was polite. I would definitely use this location again.

I come here pretty often but today was definitely the worst experience I've ever had. The last teller Donna under the "commercial" sign is usually rude but today she didn't stop rolling her eyes at me and sighing when I said something. I asked for my things back to go to a different location and she looked at me rolled her eyes and continued to do the transaction. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone. I'd say drive to another location despite of how far. I will NOT be doing business here anymore. If I could do ZERO STARS I would.
