Capital One keeps changing their "Bill Pay" system. Every year. It just gets worse every time. I'm moving my money to a better bank. This bill par is horrible. Whoever is responsible for these changes should be let go.

Capital One has racist values! If you’re an African American man this is not the bank for you! Presented a Wells Fargo settlement check, funds were presented by Wells Fargo per Wells Fargo. Check was verified multiple times per Wells Fargo from Capital One! They froze his account because Capital One claims claims it’s a fraudulent check! Funds were presented on 5/22. Now they’re telling him they can’t return the check to Wells Fargo, they have to send it to the State for unclaimed money!! Check unclaimed money because Capital One is ripping off the African American community!! It’s time to take a stance against banking with these practices towards POC!! This isn’t my story or my issue, I wouldn’t dare bank with them! But was attempting to assist a young man resolve this issue because they spoke to him as if he was a criminal!! Spoke with one person that was respectful towards this young man and her “white” supervisor wouldn’t be bothered! After the young lady spoke with Wells Fargo to resolve!! The criminal in this situation is Capital One!!

The service was awful, the lines were long, and I found the answers they gave unhelpful and inconsistent. I’ve been banking with them for nearly a decade, and my check has been early for the past 3 months for no reason. But now, it’s not even available on the day I should have access to it. If I could change banks I would but the sad part is this is one of the better ones.

I recently opened an account with y'all n honestly I was disappointed on how I was treated. First I did explain to the lady that helped me open the account that I wasn't good at doing things on my phone to get things started. She started to help me but, was distracted by co-worker showing her what she bought n then they were making plans for lunch. After finally getting the account setup she told me to give my money to her n she would bring it to the teller to deposit it into my new account. However that didn't happen. She came back with my money n told me I can bring it myself because she was leaving to go to lunch. Wow. N never once wa I given any information about my account. I was told captial one was a better bank to bank with than my bank that I have now . N now after this experience I'm Not to sure about that.

I visited this location today to make a substantial deposit to my savings account. I was met with do you have a cell phone because everything is digital. Then, there are 2 people ahead of you so you can have a seat. When I was invited to come in yo the cubicle and I began asking my questions, the conversation became one of the bank officer speaking to me as if I was a child. Pausing after her words, I guess trying to make sure I understood. The problem was, she did not understand. When I asked her not to speak to me in that manner, she said oh, I’m sorry but that’s the way I talk. I decided that even though the interest rate was higher. I would be better off going some other financial institution for now.Capital One, training in public relations is definitely needed with this young lady. She was not professional and I think she realized it after I said I would be leaving, at least I hope so.

Jennifer is the saving grace, and seemingly only competent person i was able to deal with at this location. Upon walking in, I was “greeted” (read: noticeably inconveniencing) an unpleasant teller. I wish I could have gotten her name, because she should NOT be in customer service. Once she decided she did not want to do a basic job function (deposit a third party check into my capital one account) (which Jennifer kindly handled just 3 hours before) -I then waited to speak to the laughable excuse of a branch ambassador, Melissa. She made up a company policy (literally made it up- called corporate to confirm this) to just, inconvenience a long time customer in good standing (I can only assume?) and then asked me a series of wildly personal questions that had nothing to do with my transaction. It almost seemed like a personal vendetta. How am I supposed to trust people like this with my finances?Anyway, sweet and wonderful Jennifer ended up correcting her boss and fellow teller’s errors by DOING HER JOB! Kindly, professional, and warmly. I’m not sure why there is so much inconsistency, but as long as they have people like Melissa running the show, I see this trend unfortunately continuing. Melissa then notified me that she “reversed” my already deposited check into my account. Something she doesn’t have the power or authority to do! How can someone who is a brand ambassador let her emotions get the best of her, so far as to yell and lie to a customer about false authority? Why would you intentionally make a customer have a nervous breakdown for merely trying to bank? Something was SO off and fishy about the whole exchange. I will be closing my account with capital one due to this insulting experience. I just wish I could take Jennifer with me!

Came in to the branch with a simple question of why the payment I made wasn't showing in my account balance but the funds were withdrawn from my other account. Was given a customer service number to call. Here comes the wait haha
