Doing your order online here is pointless. Three times I've checked in and waited over 45 minutes for my order. This is after Sam's has sent an email that my order is ready for pick up. Twice I've gone inside to customer service and they've acted like it was an aberration. Do you really want all of your customer base to shop at Costco? Cause this is how you get your customer base to leave.

Oh Sammy I'm back and I see a few changes. I recently was offered a year pass to Sam's club for 1/2 the regular yearly cost. I thought okay let me see what Sam's has to offer. A digital card now, oh wow, yeah I like it. Much is the same...An area that caught my eye was the prepared food section, that's new for me as they only had roti Chickens and baked goods before. On this trip picked up a corned beef, an easter book for babychild, half a years worth of laundry detergent for on 21$ (what?!)a giant container of M&Ms for the Pirate and as suggested by another customer, the most amazing pasta&kale salad. I went again with the Pirate and scoped out the stuffed salmon filets (next time I'll just grab my own filet, they were meh at most), picked up that pasta salad again and copious amounts of fruit. My departing hotdog didn't taste the same, maybe because in the past there was relish and onions offered, maybe they don't use Nathan's anymore (shrugs shoulders). Ill be back if there's a need for bull items. You're still looking good Sam, nice hanging out with ya again.

I placed an order to be delivered to me on Monday (4/10/2023) between 2-4pm. My order never showed up. I contacted Sam's Club through the chat service where they were of no help. They had offered an $8 gift card when the delivery was initially late as compensation. 30 minutes prior to my store closing I contacted them again, they promised a delivery TODAY (4/11/2023) along with another $10 gift card for compensation. They have failed to deliver the gift card and have yet to deliver my order. Every time I get on chat to talk to someone they refuse to actually assist and disconnect without notice because they don't want to help. There's no way to avoid this or file a complaint about it. I went to cancel my order and there is no option to and was ineligible for a return. I can't return something I never even got! Apparently, they can't get a driver to deliver the order. I paid Sam's to deliver, not a 3rd party, so that is an issue for them to figure out to get my delivery to me on time. Each agent has refused to cancel and refund my order. I want a full refund and at this point. Our family has been a member for over 30 years and this is how Sam's treats their long-term members. Oh, and I've tried calling my local Sam's Club over and over and over - nobody ever picks up the phone! Absolute worst service! How does Walmart have better customer service and they're the same company?!

This review is only about the scan and go feature of Sam's. Love love loveeeeeee the SCAN & GO. Love the concept of being able to scan and go. This makes it so effortless. You literally are scanning your items and when you're done you hit the checkout button select your method of payment and you were out the door amazing. Would love it if other retailers would adopt this feature. Way to go Sams!!!

10/17/22 Was the worst visit that I have ever made at Sams club located at 1527 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, LA 70058. At approximately 6:00 pm I went in to discuss an issue that I was having with my card. As soon as you walked through the doors, the member services line was backed up to the entry door. I stood in line for about 25 minutes. Finally when it was my turn a caucasian woman walked up from out of nowhere and stood on the side of me.Ms. Rebecca (who was assisting customers in member services) overlooked me and assisted the caucasian woman. A customer behind me and myself politely addressed Rebecca that I was indeed next in line. Rebecca threw her hands up in the air with a smile, came from behind the counter and said "I'll be right back" and never returned. She however called two other ladies up to the counter. One being the manager named Lisa and another young lady (whose name that I didn't get...but she was Hispanic with a lilo/stich tattoo on her arm) Both the customer and I explained to that particular young lady about what happened and who was next.The young lady then tells us (Well I don't know about all of that) She took the Caucasian woman to another register (by the tire area register) so that she could feel more comfortable and finish her transaction. I hate to call it this but by far this is the most racist thing that I have ever encountered.I also spoke with the manager Lisa and the only thing that she told me was "I'll talk to her" The manager really didn't seem to be concerned about the issue and just kept repeating that she will talk to her. I highly doubt that she will. That is why I am here letting Sams corporation know what is going on in their stores.As a customer, I have rights. It did not matter to anyone about what was going on and nothing was done about it. I did not think that Sams club was capable of showing this type of behavior so bluntly. This situation had/has me really upset. It was very unnecessary and very ignorant. Right is right and wrong is wrong.All parties refused to understand the magnitude of this situation and showed no concern about it. As a black woman whom I myself used to work in the customer service field for years knows that this is not how you treat people! This incident made me feel so low and devalued as a black woman. I stood in line like everyone else waiting to be assisted. I waited over 25-30 minutes. That 25-30 minutes turned into 40 because they thought it was a good idea to dish out white privilege.That particular customer had all rights in their eyes to skip the entire line for her own personal convenience due to the color of her skin.This is something that I would never ever expect coming from such a big cooperation. This is such a sad situation on how this was handled and I'm sorry to say this but I will be in contact with my lawyer this afternoon about this situation. This was definitely unnecessary and very inappropriate. It's really unfortunate that things like this still goes on in society. I never thought that it would be a day that I would walk out of a Sams club store (who has been a member for over 15 years) just to leave out feeling so devalued and degraded.

Okay, so I don't have a membership here, but David does! This place is wild and you know how these big box stores are- everything is huge. I have no need for big stuff, but I do like their exclusive food stuffs. My favorite is the Reese's Popcorn which is out-of-this-world and might be an addiction.

new procedure? Not only do they scan receipt and an item or two, they have to scan all items after you check out but before you can leave store. Really, every item? So you wait in check out line for 30 minutes and another to exit store, it's BS. And when they are trying to scan to exit they are acting like you f**d up because they can't match it all up, and will actuapu tell you stuff like "you rung it up separately ". I didn't ring anything up, they did. Messed up! t

I use to work in the meat dept and that dept is thee most unsanitary place I ever worked in the grinder that makes all ground meat is so disgusting and is half cleaned and has dirty build up and they prepare raw chicken in the same room as beef which is cross contamination I don't blame the workers it's just realllllly pooooooor management me their team lead and dept head are thee most unprofessional people I have every worked with it's amazing they still have jobs but they praise mediocrity I suggest you go to a different location or just go to Costco my family doesn't even buy meat from them and this was before I even started working their

A girl named mikayla was assisting people at self checkout and was extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my husband and overall just did not want to be there. Sad that i pay a membership to be treated with such a disgusting attitude, seriously needs to fix their customer service there.

I work with Instacart and I pick up a lot of batches at Sam's. During this pandemic the women that work in the front of building are very harsh and rude. I was at self check out asking for help and the lady didn't even acknowledge me, she hard me but rude said okay with her back turned. Every other department is great and very helpful but the women in the front pushed me to go to a different Sam's Club .

Don't waste your time here! I went all of the way to Sam's club to get 4 cases of water for myself and my mom. Sam's has a limit of 2 cases of water per person. What a waste of time! The fo however have zero limit on their most expensive wAter.

Love their scan and go app! Makes life easier not to have to get in line and deal with assholes ! Now if only they had a order and pick up like Wal Mart! Because their order and pick up sucks! You still have to get out the car go to the service counter get your stuff and load it yourself ***Scan and go is much quicker than that foolishness!
