“I walked in looking for a U-Haul to borrow for the day, there were two people there and the man helped us out he was so friendly and helpful! The process was quick and easy, and they were even nice about the gas not being exactly filled back to half tank. (There is a gas station next door so you can fill it there) Overall it was a quick and convenient way to help me cut costs on retail furniture and delivery. Arms are sore but definitely worth it for me!”

“I've never driven a big box truck before and I rented a 16' with a lift gate. The gentleman really took the time to go over everything with me before I left the lot. Because of him explaining a few things, I was able to use the lift gate like a champ instead of pushing or pulling everything up a ramp. It was so much easier. Will definitely be using Ryder in lieu of Uhaul next time, hands down.”
“This Uhaul location is a hidden gem. Whatever you do, avoid the Lapalco and Oakwood locations at all costs! After having a nightmare experience, this location is the only redeeming quality that Uhaul has. I appreciate them for accommodating me on such short notice and they were a pleasure to deal with. Uhaul in general has scarred me for life, but if I had to use the company again, I would rent from this location only! For anyone who has had a bad experience, give this location a try, they won't disappoint.”
“It was easy and simple. The only issue I had was finding the truck by looking for the license, there were a lot of trucks. Other than that they made everything easy. The people at the office was nice and friendly which made my experience good.”
“After a difficult drive from MI to LA towing a car behind a U-haul and then one of the straps coming off the tire of the car, we called U-haul in Metairie and talked to John. He put all calls on hold and talked us through getting the strap back on. Then my son came up with the brilliant idea that when we arrive we won't need to tow the car anymore. I can drive the U-haul and he can drive his car. Two hours later we arrive and not only did the next man assure me they have a silly rule about not being able to turn in the trailer but not the truck, but he sent me out to Charlie who was equally as nice. Then John comes out and greets us with, "u all made it". This man who never met us and talks to a multitude of ppl all day remembered talking to us and came out to greets us. Thank you”

“So great! The employees there were all extremely friendly and helpful, without being condescending. The 26ft truck is VERY easy to drive (speaking as someone who exclusively drives compact cars.) We reserved the truck online at 9pm the night before, and picked up the truck at 7am the next day as soon as they opened. We were on the road by 7:15. There are no hidden fees or scammy extra charge tactics. Excellent experience, and will absolutely rent here again.”

“Due to a misunderstanding at a different U-Haul location in New Orleans, I was redirected to fix my issue with these generous gentlemen at the Harvey location. They provided quick and easy service to include going above and beyond to push my car onto a tow dolly for me. They were so caring and efficient. It's already a stressful experience to move, especially being notified of an error 30 min before leaving out of state, but they made it such a pleasant experience to include giving my flowers since I was already stressed. Thank you so much gentlemen for the help. You guys are awesome!”
