The cashier needs a refresher on customer service. I don’t remember her name but it was initials. She did not put any of my items in the bag, just looked at me when I was done paying. I had to ask “would you mind placing the items in a bag”. It’s 8am in the morning, what is there to be so upset about?

It would be nice if they actually had the doors unlocked when they advertise they are open. Or just change the hours of operations so people don’t waste their time coming there for the doors to be locked and the employees are just standing in there talking.

The store is not a problem it’s the assistant manager SHARON!! She is the rudest person I have ever encountered in a business establishment. She’s very very ugly and loud with employees embarrassing them as if they should know everything she know on the second day of the job. I have seen her make fun of employees to other employees as well as customers if she can get a customer to laugh at the employee when she screaming at the top of her lungs she puts a smile on her face!!! She doesn’t properly train her employees so if you ask a question about the location of product or even if they carry the product most employees can’t answer because she doesn’t train she’s by far the most terrible person in management I have ever encountered and making employees cry on a daily basis has to be wrong or some way of her getting a write up or even suspend withpu Pay but if I was her GM I personally would fire her. If you don’t like your job and your employees have to deal with your attitude daily then it causes that employee stress problems with self esteem etc. Apparently she has no idea what it’s like to have your very first job!! Or maybe she just simply is racist. She does seem to be that as well. I never give bad reviews but this lady SHARON is a terrible person boss and she needs to be replaced or punished at the least. I love the dollar store but if I walk in and see her I walk right back out the door. That’s sad and I know I am not the only customer whom has experiences like this with this SHARON!!!! Also she doesn’t teach how to bag things you don’t mix food with chemicals it’s just not the right way for bagging anyway. I’ve said what seems to be a lot but this is just a very small part of what I’ve seen her do through out the years. !!?TRUTH. # FIRE SHARON. SHES THE WORST PERSON I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MANAGEMENT THANKS.

I don't know if they know and play dumb? ? or do they not have adequate training? But they don't have the most common sense ???♂️ place drinks mixed with shampoo and bleach at the same bag ???♂️ what world are they in? It's disappointing, these young people don't have the slightest common sense to do things, it's disappointing and frustrating ???♂️

Tried to ask for help tall black dude with ear buds in his ears blew me off. Apparently he can't sell cigarettes in morning with sign up but later on he can. The store is a joke.

It’s unclear if this store has just opened or has been recently looted. Shift change at 5:30 with 10-12 people in line. Shelves aren’t stocked and the isles are flooded with junk. 11 minutes in line with 1 register open.

There is a nice young man working at the Dollar General, Hwy 80 in Haughton that helped me today (5/21/22 at 10:36 AM) that was just the best. I wanted to get two chairs, of course at the bottom of the stack. He not only helped me with the chairs, but helped me get them in my car. He is always super friendly, and his help today was wonderful!

Staff was friendly and greeted me when I entered. They have a bigger selection than I expected and the prices were good. The employee that rang me up was very sweet too. Much easier to get in and out of than brookshires or Walmart for sure

Great selection of higher quality items than I'm used to seeing at a dollar general store. Checkout is a little clustered but they are friendly and clean with a little bit of everything :)
