Lake Claiborne State Park have outdoor activities range from swimming, fishing, birding, boating, camping, hiking and disc golf. The freshwater lake is stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie and bream, and the sandy beach is protected from boats and water skiers. Family and kids can safely play, love the peaceful camping sites and spacious lakeside cabin or shaded campsite. The park is well maintained, very clean and beautiful, with clean bathrooms, shower, laundry facility and A/C in restroom. Workers are nice, the area is super clean and the lake water looked clearer than other lakes. Entry is $3.

Beautiful, well maintained state park with a large lake for fishing, swimming and boating. Camp sites from tent camping to RV camping or even cabin rentals are available. Whether taking advantage of the lake or hiking and enjoying the outdoors, this park is worth the drive.
