Candlewood Suites Houma is an excellent and great place to stay, with friendly and accommodating employees. The property is nice and clean, and the rooms are big, clean, and very good with a kitchen, full-sized fridge, and a desk. The bed was comfortable and the grill and pool are perfect. It is in the right location, not too far from swamp tours, and walkable to Target. Some rooms are a little dated but due refurbishment. The main complaints are the gym facility, where most equipment is broken, and there is no free breakfast. Cleaning service is generally good, though occasional oversights are noted.

We were here from March 23- and we are leaving tomorrow (4/20) Our stay has been exceptional to say the least! The managers, front desk staff, maintenance staff, and housekeepers etc are wonderful!! They made us feel at home! They all went above and beyond!!!! My doggies enjoyed the stay as well!!! We will be back!! ♥
