Checked in after a long day. Had already checked in on the app, and received a digital key so I went straight to the room. Upon entering, the room was very warm, 76 degrees to be exact, I figured no big deal the AC must be off. It was. Attempted to adjust amd turn it on...nothing. The thermostat clicked, but the unit did nothing. Went to rhe front desk, no one was there, nor was anyone in the office which I could tell as the door was open. Returned to the room and attempted to call th front desk...10 minutes later after no one answering called Hilton customer service. Ten minutes later after going through that process, and while still attempting to call the front desk on my own, they call hoteland apparently someone picks up for them. The Hilton corporate customer service tep I firms me maintenance will be up. Ten more minutes pass...I'm waiting, nothing. Attempt to call the front desk again.....just rings, never answered. Walk back downstairs...this time the attendant is present (she was actually pleasant and nice)...she agrees to give me another room, and explains she was unavailable because she was stuck in the elevator, to which I politely suggested the hotel seems to be in need of some serious maintenence. I make it to the new room - AC works, so awesome. Proceed ro settle in and turn on the TV. The TV has no programming as its a Googke TV amd has only apps on it. I have never stayed in a room at a hotel for a major chain and seen a TV that wasnt connected to the hotel's cable network. Even if i had desired to login to Netflix or my Google account on this TV I could not have as it had bo internet connection.I picked this hotel because of the 4.4 star rating on Google, and in doing so, I paid more than I could have at other nearby properties. Mistake on my part. I'm really not sure what's going on at this location. From the outside, it looks like it should be a great property...even the lobby looks nice. The elevators and rooms, however, well, they need some love.

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Didn’t have our room type that we booked at check in. Then, there was a water leak in the hallway, that they didn’t repair. Starting at 4 on our second night, there was no water for the whole hotel. It seems as if management doesn’t care about its guests.

Not a first recommended stay type of hotel. If staying in Houma, I would highly recommend the Marriott courtyard over the Homewood.

A tip: if you cannot get a room on the ground floor, cancel your booking. Especially if you have a king stay. 1)The elevators are in the opposite side of the building. 2) they are very very slow. This hotel is Sub par compared to other Hilton hotels. The app keys don’t work, you must get a plastic card from the front desk. Carpets in the rooms have stains, the overall build quality of the bathrooms just seems cheap unless you are very loyal to Hilton then I wouldn’t stay here.Had to downgrade to 1 stars, the internet did not work at this hotel.. the front desk staff acknowledged the issue. Also, the TV is set to such a low brightness to save power and there is no option to change it. The settings are locked out for guest. I will not be staying here again.

This hotel is ran by a man that has no organization skills and barely speaks. The hotel is like a junk storage for the staff. The cleaning ladies bring their kids to work screaming and hollering while people are trying to sleep. Horrible management beware of your stay. They paint over mold and half rig items to fix. Storage is full of roaches. For a Hilton this is one of the trashes hotels around Houma la

Showed up with one room booked for our family of six. Was told someone extended their stay and the room wasn’t available now we have to split up into two rooms. Our oldest kid is 13 so we don’t really feel comfortable sending them into a room alone. Then waited for 30 minutes to be able to even get into the room after being on the road for six hours.

Stayed for 4 days during a new job orientation. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. It's like an apartment with all the things you need for an extended stay (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, pots, utensils, and coffee pot.The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of items to choose from. The front desk personnel were friendly and courteous.Overall, I enjoyed my stay ????

One of worst experiences. Booked for Manning passing camp nearby and based our choice off of reviews and fact that I'm usually good with a Hilton. Stone facade and building look good on surface, but cleanliness was one of worst we have seen. Would have left immediately if we were not so late and choices in this area slim. Carpet was not just stained but sticky like a fraternity floor. Had to wear shoes around until we got into bed. Night hotel desk admitted they are due for a refresh which is an understatement. Furniture was beat up and dirt along bathroom crevices. Kitchen was updated but bedroom and bathroom looked like a motel. Don't let professional photos fool you. We left immediately in morning and found a different hotel in Laplace.

The location is great, but the hotel itself needs a remodel. The carpets are very dirty, the paint is peeling, and the shower liners are peeling. Also this hotel needs more than 1 cart to sever its guests. I will also add that it did take awhile to get someone at the front desk to ask if there was a cart available. As A Diamond member I stay at a lot of Hilton Properties nation wide and would say this is among the worst. So travel light and don’t expect a great room, but you will be in the middle of everything.Rooms: The carpets are very dirty, the paint is peeling, and the shower liners are peeling.

The location of the hotel was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. The customer service was excellent upon check in ,during our stay and upon checking out. The housekeeping stayed on top of everything with keeping the rooms cleaned daily and bringing clean towels. Lastly, the breakfast bar had the most amazing grits I've ever had in a hotel they were slap your mama good.Nearby activities: There was many stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

My wife and I booked a room here for 3 days. On the second day we wake up and leave first thing in the morning. I had everything piled up by the wall in regards to rags and towels. We left and did not put the sign on the door asking for privacy, but we returned at 9:00 that night with the sign hanging on the door. This is unacceptable in my eyes. If you pay this much for a room, you expect exceptional service. In this case, it was not given. This is my only complaint, but this is a dealbreaker for me. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. Thank You for your time and GOD Bless! ??

Check in was good. But the room is not Hilton standard. This “premium suite” is outdated and needs a remodel bad! All the vinyl is cracked and peeling off the furniture. But, it’s just decor, so I can live with that. However, the hair in the center of the coffee table is gross. Honestly tho, the carpet is the worst part. Big chunks of dirt and debris makes it evident this room wasn’t vacuumed. Front desk said they have no other rooms. She offered to come vacuum but that’s just so awkward! I guess I’m stuck with it until housekeeping comes tomorrow. Not a happy traveler right now. I expect better from Hilton.Rooms: UPGRADE!!!! They don’t even have smart TVs so guests can watch Netflix or Hulu or whatever. Isn’t that just standard nowadays?!

me and my boyfriend booked a room for 2 days and the night we got here our vehicle was broken into along with 7 others. We parked in the back parking lot. There were two cameras where we park and both of them were facing the right side of the lot. The cameras were not moved and it is just stupid to have both cameras facing the same way. this hotel is highly overrated!
