Please name me a restaurant who charges you for seafood dip when ordering boiled seafood with potatoes? C'EST BON CAFE : These idiots actually charged me a $1.00 for dine in seafood dip. No dip comes with the order and I didn't ask for any EXTRAS. Seafood dip has always been complementary with boiled seafood at every seafood restaurant I've ever been to. You were charged if you asked for take out. Decided to give it another chance but I'm done, NEVER GOING BACK !!!! Service and simple greeting the guests is still absolutely horrible.

This was my second trip here. The food was good, but service and product available weren't top notch. 1st trip, my 3rd choice was finally in stock. 2nd trip they were out of lunches at 1145 and at 1 I was still waiting for my food. The shrimp patty had a great taste but was small in comparison to the bun size. They are not capable of handling the amount of tables in the restaurant and service was something to be desired.

There were 5 in our party. Were seated and handed menus. Only ones in the place but it was 4pm on Sunday so ok. Waitress went and started cleaning menus. I asked a question from across the room and she didn't even come to the table. Just answered from across the room. Finally came for drink orders. One person asked do you have beer. Her answer was yes. period. yes. Not yes, we have these to choose from. Like pulling teeth. Then ordered food all was good till the food came out. Nothing was really hot. It had been under a heat lamp. TAKE NOTE: The 5.99 mini stuffed crabs are imitation crab meat and probably bought from Sam's. Pitiful...The shrimp platter is popcorn shrimp that were rubbery and didn't taste like shrimp at all. We asked if they were farm raised and she said no wild caught. Ummm, not good. $10.00 wasted. We asked what the difference was between the shrimp platter and the butterflied shrimp platter and were told the butterflied $14.00 are larger shrimp. Basically like what you would get on a shrimp platter. So, why don't they call the shrimp platter popcorn shrimp as they have designated the bigs ones as butterfly. Pitiful. One in the party ordered boiled shrimp. They tasted good but again were small. We're all from Metairie and Houma area. This is a terrible representation of the quality of food that should be served at a seafood restaurant in southern Louisiana. Maybe y'all need to stick to boiled seafood. Oh, the white beans and rice were good.

Had dinner at C'est Bon Cafe on Friday evening. It's a small restaurant but very nice atmosphere. It was really nice to go to a smaller restaurant on a Friday night. We could have a nice dinner and talk. We all had boiled crawfish and they were very good! Our server was very nice and friendly. We will return.

As far as good Home cooked Cajun goes... this is a great stop! The food is well seasoned and well cooked. I had the hamburger steak and seafood soup. I meant to take a picture, but I ate it all before I remembered! My kids had fried fish and chicken tenders, and everyone was pleased. Prices are more than reasonable. We will definitely be back!
