U-Drop Shipping accepted a duct tape-sealed ice chest containing fresh fish and dry ice for overnight delivery, shipping cost in excess of $300. When the package arrived, the fish had been repacked in a styrofoam cooler and the ice chest was missing. Also missing were items from a double bagged container of toiletries. No one contacted me requesting permission to repackage my items and there was no explanatory note. I discarded the fish, since I could not be sure that it was safe for my family to consume. When I contacted U-Drop, they offered to refund half of the charges, admitting that their employee had not followed protocol, but did not offer a full refund since the package arrived on time. I felt that a full refund was in order, since I had not only received an unusable product, but had wasted considerable money on airfare and a charter fishing trip, and disputed the charges with my credit card company, which issued a full refund. I received my ice chest and toiletries via Federal express 2 weeks later, with no explanatory note. I do not recommend this company.
