I love how I looked up the reviews regarding the pharmacy and they were all 1 star. That definitely shows a lot. I switched to this pharmacy because I was unhappy with my other one. They did great for a while until I ran into a problem with one of my medications today. You can get a prescription refilled one day early. So for example, if you are prescribed medicine for a cold and you pick it up on 07/18, you begin taking that medication THAT day and that is DAY ONE of taking your medication. The HEAD pharmacist wanted to argue with me about it and I realized it was a losing battle so I will go without my medication that I take 3 times a day so I won't be able to pick it up until the afternoon, missing my morning dose. That bothers me but what is making me write this review is that the HEAD PHARMACIST made an out-of-pocket comment regarding the argument that day 1 of your medicine starts the day you take it (the day you pick it up), meaning I am one day before my prescription is ready to be refilled; therefore I can pick it up. She said something along the lines of, "Well if you were born in 1997, you're not a year old in 1997" and she laughed when she said that. I told her in a VERY polite way that I was not stupid, obviously I know that and as a 28 year old, I do not need to be talked to like a child. She walks away while laughing and I know the other employees heard the conversation. I felt embarrassed that I was being laughed at by a manager in front of other workers. I refuse to be treated that poorly so I am taking my business to another pharmacy. That won't hurt their business one bit but before going to this pharmacy, read the reviews because they are nothing about RIGHT but that pharmacy.

Worse pharmacist ever working here! She refused to help me with my medication, and when I asked for help from someone else, she told me to go to a different pharmacy and have my script sent there. I have never dealt with such disrespect before from someone who is supposed to be helping people. She's definitely in the wrong perfession. Never going here ever again! If you want a good pharmacy to go to, that actually takes the time to help you, then this is not it.

Go to pick up prescription, no pharmacist on duty. Why even allow prescriptions to be sent to this store??

I been dealing with Walgreens for years I get all my meds filled there however today when I went there to get my pain meds filled I was told that they couldn’t fill it because my pain Dr was out of town so is my surgeon well at least they were honest shame on them

This Walgreen's on West Tunnel Blvd In Houma is the worst. I went there on 10/24/22 at 1 pm and the male manager on duty at the front of the store was unhelpful and rude. Corporate must be clearly grabbing from the bottom of the barrel with this guy. Our family has several hundreds of dollars in prescriptions we get from this location every month, we are transferring them to another pharmacy, so long for good Walgreen's, you blew it.

This location seems to do what they like as opposed to standing by prescription times. A number of times I have put through a refill and once ready gave me a date and time that it would be cancelled if not picked up. I have had them put meds back within days even though there was a date over a week away for cancelling. I’m disabled and have to rely on people getting me to the store to pick up meds. Horrible customer service when I tried to contact their support also. Id call this the Burger King of pharmacies, but that would be an insult to BK. Save the headache and go to the one on W Park.

I was diagnosed with Covid. My oxygen levels were dropping. They were busy apparently because of the storm and the rise in Covid. Instead of increasing their staff to handle the influx, they made the heartless decision to advise that my prescriptions wouldn't be ready for 4 to 5 days. I attempted to explain how much I desperately needed this medication and it was on deaf ears. We've been Walgreens customers for years and make no mistake about it, we will be dealing with local pharmacies from now on. It will be worth the extra cost.

Is not reliable nor can you get a prescription filled in a timely fashion. They have on so many occasions sat on our prescription and we would call to no avail. Have even went in person and then called later to be told once again we will have it in a few hours or give us a few hours to place 90 tablets in a bottle.
Is so scary to see just how unorganized they are in pharmacy running around bumping into each other and not getting anything done.
Maybe they need a store wide drug test.

3hour wait after drop off, return 3.5 hours later, 20min wait in line to be told "its not ready we are filling it now" ?... Terrible.
