I would give better stars, because I don't have a problem with the other employees here, but the big scruffy man that works here is very rude. He doesn't know how to remove items from receipts and tells you to use card instead of cash. Not everyone carries cash! Maybe he can't count change, but this is unacceptable.

I stopped by this Dollar General while passing through Independence, and I was pleasantly surprised by how organized the store was. The aisles were well-stocked with a solid range of everyday essentials—from snacks and household goods to seasonal items. It was easy to find what I needed without wandering around too much.The staff were friendly and quick to help when I asked about a product, and checkout was smooth with minimal wait time. Parking convenient, although a few boxes were stacked in the aisles, which made navigating with a cart a bit tight in places.

Called for an item that they may or may not have and the price. They hung up on me before I could ask my question. Tried again and got hung up on yet again. Went to the store to see if the item was there for myself and tested to see if they were going to answer. A woman looked at the phone and walked away. Highly unprofessional.

Great customer service but never enough registers available. There can be five workers on the clock but only one cashier which causes the line to be extremely long, makes things a bit inconvenient

Employees r always so friendly. On this particular visit ( I say that because I shop there on a regular) the grocery section was out of stock on a lot of items but it could have been the time of month that is in higher demand of certain things. Also the store and parking lot r clean. And it's the only location that I'm aware of that stays open till 11pm. I drive further than 2 other stores to shop in Indy. ....I'm a night owl ?

I love the Dollar general in Independence it has groceries, cleaning supplies clothes anything you may want and even gas makes it even better
