Finding it was not hard. Finding where I needed to go inside was. I was pointed to a closed door with the name of what I needed, only to find out that's not really where I should have been. I have good eyesight, but signs were hard to spot and read, appart from directions to check in.

It is impossible to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. You’re in great pain, your body is losing function, and they say the earliest you can be seen is the middle of the next month! Health care is not important!

At your main campus handicap parking spaces has been replaced by reserve. Handicap people are not welcome to enter your doors to get to your medical records. It appears to me Oschner still shows decriminalization against handicap and people of color.

Hubby and I went for our annual check-up with Dr. Plost and the entire process was seamless. Check-in was efficient, we were seen almost immediately and had all our questions answered. Extremely pleased with Ochsner Primary Care.

This was my first time meeting with Dr. Plost - he was very nice...we established care and he allowed me time to ask him questions that I needed to, the appointment felt a little rushed, but hopefully next time its more smooth and not as fast-paced.

Went there for preop medical clearance. My name was misspelled in my electronic record. I asked the check in clerk to correct it. She spent 29 minutes and still got it wrong. I was easily fixed by the v who checked me in for lab. Everything else was fine including a very attentive excellent physician.

I encountered friendly, caring, professional staff from start to finish. As a new patient, I found the registration was prompt and easy. I’m very pleased to have Dr. Heersink as my new PCP. I appreciated his patience and thoroughness in addressing my concerns and making referrals. And very important to me, he is very friendly and easy to talk to. At check out Kimberly was so helpful in scheduling new appointments.

I have been x-ray and MRI to death. I strained my back muscles limping on a sprained ankle and was given a muscle relaxer that caused severe side effects. I asked for another and was told not until another MRI 2 weeks later. When the pain had me jumping out of my skin I called and begged! Now I am told no treatment until July when I establish a new primary! They got paid by my insurance and couldn’t care less what happens to me! Don’t walk from Ochsner. Run!

I came in as a new patient and I felt very comfortable. It was easy to make the appointment and I had a virtual visit the next day. Sonya Coleman was the PA and she was wonderful!
