“Great place to spend a night. Quiet despite the close proximity to the interstate highway. Close to the interstate 10, and local shopping. Walmart supercenter and plenty of restaurants.”
“I don’t understand why this motel/hotel has such bad reviews. They answered the phone politely, were nice and efficient when we arrived. The room was basic but clean. No bugs. Waffle house etc 5 mins away. No coffee, no pool, no ice machine. Felt super safe, surrounded by fields. 1000x better than the motel we drove away from in Lafayette with lots of homeless in the car park. Would recommend for one night on the road.”

“We had come to town for a funeral so we appreciated the kindness of the staff. The room was right next to the office and was still quiet. We stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean. They changed their breakfast to grab and go from the hot breakfast shown online. They said it came from corporate and that they would be switching to vending machines soon. Not happy about that. On our second day wanted to go relax by the pool but it was closed early, not sure why so that was disappointing. The little cafe nextdoor was very good and there is a small casino. Not a bad location, on the main drive with a lot of choices for food and gas. This was our 2nd stay here and would most definitely stay again. Thank you to the staff for being so nice.”
