It's not the worst motel, but it's not the best either...It's expensive and it's dirty.

Great place to spend a night. Quiet despite the close proximity to the interstate highway. Close to the interstate 10, and local shopping. Walmart supercenter and plenty of restaurants.

This was the worst motel we’ve ever stayed at! It needs to be remodeled ASAP! When we entered it smelled like rotten food. The bathroom was really dirty. And the door wouldn’t even close smoothly you had to use strength.

What will/can you expect for a 2 star motel. Please make sure you double check your personal property & that it's secure. Moderate homeless ppl & less than desirable frequency of ppl whom possess less than desirable traits within the public common welfare structure.Safety: Be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially women at night. Cameras/surveillance is out dated & not sure if it works or not.Walkability: One great aspect is that local stores like Walmart, for example, are all within a very short walking distance.

You get what you pay for. The lady at the counter was sweet and helped all the could. They were understaffed. Reserve a room ahead, don't listen to the guy who answers the

I stayed here for seven weeks last winter (2023).The room was clean and very basic -with absolutely no frills.Clean sheets, towels, toilet paper, and soap.My room was always around $70 to $80 a night.Physically the building is in disrepair - and is not well maintained on the exterior. The ceiling in my shower was in dire need of drywall repairs. The door to my room did not seal completely and there were mosquitoes that found their way into the room at night.(They kept the spider that lived in the corner of the ceiling above the TV well fed.)The young woman who cleaned my room was very good at her job.Miss Peggy - the front desk person was extremely friendly and kind. The owners of the place - not so much. They are very quiet, unfriendly, and definitely were lacking in good people and customer service skills. There was only one weekend while I was there - that I was uncomfortable in terms of my personal safety. There were hunters staying in the room next to me - and they sat in the bed of their pickup truck drinking booze until late into the night outside their room every night.I NEVER saw a roach or bed bug in the room as other reviews have stated. That definitely would of been a deal breaker - and I would of checked out.Basically you get what you pay for in terms of lodging today. If you want a nice motel room you are going to pay well over $100 a night minimum. This Motel 6 is basic simple accommodations. If that is what you are looking for you will be good.Food & drinks: Restaurants within a block

This was the most dirty nasty room I have seen, body odor on sheets, towels stained, bugs on floor, door not tight, window curtains not fit . Dont believe it was ever cleaned. all around just nasty. I can't believe Jennings county code or health would allow this, doesn't say much for their character or the town, shame on them. Not even clean enough for bedbugs to stay in. Pool just as bad. Should be condemn

We always stay here when in town. They are great people. Rooms are clean. Prices are affordable. We are never bothered here even though it’s right off interstate. Convenient location. Mrs Peggy and Mrs rose are extra friendly ladies. They make you want to come back. Housekeepers are also nice! Bring all of your own hygiene stuff including hair dryer. They don’t offer any of that.

Our door was rusted we had to shove our way in. Our room smelled as well. We were traveling and just needed a few hours sleep is the only reason we stopped. It was close to freeway. Next we will not stop here.

❌️❌️Bottom line upfront: STAY AWAY❌️❌️It is absolutely disgusting and a huge rip off. I paid 87.60 for a one night. This room is worth $30. If that. Please reference photos for the horrible room conditions.Sink clogged, ceiling damaged, blanket stained, mold in bathroom, rusted metal, and cracked mirror. The list goes on. Additionally, we had a towel with a black spot. When we asked for a new one, the old shrew at check in nabbed it from my mother's hand very forcefully giving her attitude. Totally unacceptable. When we asked about the coffee being available in the morning, the old lady replied that due to covid they don't serve coffee...seriously? It's 2023 and they use some sorry @$$ excuse to be lazy and not make it despite other motel 6s making coffee.Overall, horrible experience. Do yourself a favor. Pay or drive a little more and get yourself something better. Writing this before bed. I'll let you know if there are bed bugs or not.

This hotel needs to be renovated. Everything is outdated & I felt unsafe because of the door. The bathroom wasn’t clean & the tub is stained. Some sketchy ppl hang out around this place. I paid $91 & felt robbed. It’s definitely a $40 motel!

We were shocked at how shabby the bare room was with peeling paint and cigarette burns on the bed clothes. Loud partiers with barking dogs all around us! We'll never take another chance on any Motel 6. We didn't expect luxury, but we didn't expect something akin to a homeless shelter.
