The manager at this location is rude, every single time. Definitely shouldn't be working with the public. I will drive the extra few miles to go to the other DG down the highway, from now on

Had to run out on a nasty rainy Christmas Eve for cold medicine, etc while on family vacation in the area. Sweetest woman was working and I appreciated her kindness so much. Store is well stocked and organized to suit needs for a quick stop. May God bless the kind cashier and her family this holiday and in to the new year.

The woman who's always there when the store opens who appears to be in her 60s is very racist. Always rude when I go in and she's never even at a register.

Easy to find everything. In and out quick and easy. Great place to pick up a few things thats close to home. I felt very safe at this location, they were not very busy.

It says they close at ten and it now 9:06 and they are closed. The website says open. Please correct your website, I could have went the other direction.

09/30/2023My third time visiting this DG location, ( 30364 U.S. Hwy 190, Lacombe, LA 70445 ),walking in the entrance, seeing and hearing the cashier (dark red-head haired woman), say, “Ugh”, upon a customer entering. I’ve also heard and witnessed her, (while standing along side of her on the aisle I was shopping on, say the same as a man entered. Each time she did this, she was in the process of stocking shelves. The (2), first experiences, she was the sole employee, so I somewhat understood her reaction, for being overwhelmed.Today, there was a co-worker with her.Today, she and her co-worker’s lack of dutiful response and acknowledgment of us, their customer/S, was uncalled for. Their registers were closed, for updates one of the workers finally stated, after my standing there and waiting for a good 4 to 7-minutes, before being acknowledged, only to be told, “use the self check”, all the while, 4-more customers had already made it to the self check register, thus I would have become the seventh customer, when I was waiting for an employee. Had I been acknowledged at first, I’d have become the second customer.Needless to say, my shopping items were left at store, I exited and went home.

I was in this store this morning, I got a pack of D batteries and went to the checkout. The self checkout said use other checkout when I went to the other checkout a woman behind the counter said she will be with you in a minute and walked away. After standing there for a couple of minutes I placed the batteries back and went to Family Dollar.

The problem I have with Dollar General isn't with one particular store. It's with their Corporate office. I shop at Dollar General for certain things. And for the past couple of years I'm having more and more problems being able to find the products that I'm looking for. The other issue I have which I'm sure this is the same issue alot of customers have is that there is never enough employees working and it's mostly the evening and night shifts that seem to have the most problem. One person working the entire store, the register, stocking, helping other customers..come on people this DOES NOT WORK!! I'm sure you lose customers that don't want to wait or that CANNOT wait in line for over 30 minutes because there was only ONE EMPLOYEE working the entire store...and apparently your computer's aren't working correctly if the items being sold are not being reordered. More often than not I'm not able to find the items that I usually get from Dollar General. I'm hoping that Corporate will see this and take it seriously and do something to help their stores and the employees to be able to help their customers.Hoping for better times with Dollar General ?

Dollar General getting fancy yall! Lol. First one of these I've seen. This store is actually one of the best ones I've been to. Employees are super friendly and helpful. The store is clean and actually organized product on the shelves instead of things scattered everywhere like most dollar generals
