Hours: Abraham's Tent is a huge source of support, love, and essential services in the Lake Charles, LA, area. It has helped Southwest Louisiana for decades with a food bank and a Medicaid sign-up booth. On Thursdays, a pop-up provides addiction counseling and harm reduction. The volunteers are compassionate and caring, making a real difference for the community and all of its citizens, including the homeless. It is one of the few places left that truly cares. The establishment can be kind of crowded at times, but it is incredibly important and highly recommended.
