I called my insurance. Told the insurance company who I wanted to use. Insurance comp faxed the claim to Allied. Windshield came in the next day. So easy!

Honestly, the work was fine. But if you want to be treated like a piece of trash by the ancient front desk ladies then bring your car here for repairs. These 70+ year old ladies have the audacity to treat customers like garbage and obviously seem to have no consequences for their actions. I should’ve listened to all the one star reviews before I even brought my truck here

I looked up the hours of operation for Allied glass and their website said they close at 5pm so I went in at 4:30 and the 2 secretaries looked at me like I was crazy. "What you got" said one of them. I have a windshield that needs a new seal. They laughed and said "Everyone left at 4:30" I said "You are open til 5 right?" They laughed again and said "The office is open til 5 but everyone else left." There was no sign that alerted the customer of this anywhere. They never said sorry some back tomorrow, or can you leave your car, they just seemed to have this attitude that if you stay we have to do something and if you leave we just do nothing til 5. I said "I'll just go somewhere else." And I left and I will not go back, they lost a customer.

At first, they were very quick to send workers out to measure my project.Since then, I followed up at least three times to request a quote for the job, which I never got a response on.

Was put on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on me. I understand if there were a lot of phone calls, but don’t hang up on me and not call back.

I want to start off by saying I'm not a confrontational person and rarely if ever leave reviews but I think in this case people need to beware. I called for a quote the man (who I later found out was the manger) and he said would call me back with the prices. the next day I get a call saying the pieces are ready to be picked up. I said I hadn't actually order the pieces but was waiting on a quote. The lady seemed frustrated with the guy who had taken down the info for the quote. I asked her how much it was and she told me. It was slightly more then Lake City Glass but it was cut so I figured I help them out and purchase the glass so it and their work wouldn't go to waste. When I called to tell them I was coming to pick it up and would arrive 10 minutes before they closed the lady again sounded frustrated except this time it was towards me. She unhappily said they would "stay open for me to get there". I arrived on time and was out of there shop before their closing time. I gave the "unhappy lady' my card and she went to process my payment. While she was doing that a man brought me my glass all wrapped up. I noticed it didn't look right and when I opened it up two pieces were missing. I told the "unhappy lady" this and she said the order was only for 6 not 8. Since I hate confrontation I left with me 6 pieces that I paid more for then the 8 peices quoted at Lake City Glass. I later called and asked to talk to the manger. I was told he was out but that he would call me back. I didnt get a call back so I called them again. I could tell that asking to speak to the manager upset the "unhappy lady" but she put me through to him eventually after being put on hold for awhile. The manager was also difficult to talk to but eventually admitted he had made a mistake and would see if he had some extra glass. The way he hung up I figured I would never hear from them but they did call and said I could have the glass at no extra charge. Even thought the people seemed very unpleasant I was happy to see them make this right. When I went to pick it up the "unhappy lady" said here is an invoice for 2 that we aren't charging you for and here is an invoice for the other 2 you ordered. I told her I didn't order 2 additional pieces. She is clearly unhappy with me and says "yes you did! we dont just make this stuff up!" I politely said I didn't order any additional glass. She is very upset by now and isn't hiding it. She openly complains about me to another worker. I guess he told her to give me the glass because she says "Come get your glass. I don't know what you are trying to do bub!". She walked into the warehouse and points to the glass and then walks off. I picked up my package and there were only 2 pieces of glass. So apparently they made another mistake and wrote up 2 tickets. There were 3 mistakes made by this company and that's okay because mistakes happen. It is not okay to treat people the way they did. Even if it had been all my fault there is still no reason to treat people that way. I would recommend Lake City Glass. I have used them and incarcerated with them several times and they are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have no connection to Lake City Glass or Allied other then as a costumer.

Heard a couple b things about this place BUT we were very impressed with it. The young man who waited on us was very knowledgeable and very polite and nice. The girl, Jen, was equally as nice and very helpful. I WILL use this place again.

Got there at 6am to make sure we were first in line and dropped off truck once they opened to go eat breakfast real quick... got back an hour later to be told they "couldn't start the truck" ... got in truck and it couldn't have started any easier. So windshield didn't get put in until 4pm!!! Never again!
