107 room ADA wheelchair accessible
I can’t believe that the hotel kept my $50 deposit, claiming it was for smoking! No — we weren’t smoking cigarettes. The smell came from the casino and stuck to our clothes. We went back to the hotel, changed clothes, and took a shower. I tried to explain the truth, but they still refused to return my deposit.
We were on vacation for my early birthday, and this completely ruined the experience. I will never go back there again! Their rules are ridiculous. I’m in a wheelchair and have health problems and i am deaf— the way they treated me was incredibly disrespectful.
I called them many times over the past two days asking for the manager. Every time, they just said, “Not here, not here, not here.” Seriously, OMG! What a waste of my time. It sounds like nothing but excuses!
This is a terrible hotel! They stole my money. Don’t go there — they’ll fool you too!
Also, I saw some roaches there — just a warning! The room itself was nice, and everything else was okay, but the front desk and the housekeeping service? Absolutely not!

When I walked in and was immediately hit with the smell of burning Marijuana I probably should have left. The entire hallway reeked of the smell, and we only escaped it once in our room. Very strange for a 100% no smoking hotel. The following morning we were treated to cold eggs and sausage that wasn't even room temperature, and a broken microwave that could have improved the situation. No butter, no fruit, no artificial sweeteners, no yogurt ; basically nothing that is normally found at a Best Western. Absolutely a HUGE disappointment.
Part 2: My information was requested by hotel staff to help address the situation. I've called 4 times and left messages for Paul but have never reached him or received a return phone call. Apparently this is not all that important.

They will steal your deposit. They will change the rates on you without any sort of prior knowledge trying to blame you because of their incompetence would not recommend staying here at all.

The room was not fully stocked. Literally I had no blanket and sheets on my bed. REALLY!!! To top it off, the mattress had nasty stains on it with no mattress protector or cover. Disgusting! We had to go down stairs and request bedding. They had the audacity to send us up with it to make the bed ourselves. Unprofessional! Needless to say that was the only night I spent there. I left on the first thing smoking. As I was checking out, I was standing in line behind a woman that was telling them how bad her room stinks. Honestly I don't know how anyone ever gave them more than 1 star. Must be new management now but I would have to be desperate to come back here. It is closer to my relatives but not worth it. I'd rather drive.
Noteworthy details: Disgusting!!!

This review was difficult because it's attached to trauma. The booking was easy and quick, the checkin was fairly quick and the front desk customer service was good... but the rooms need so much attention. First, let me say I had been in a horrible accident, as I was traveling through Louisiana to Texas for business. I had been to the hospital and released after some days. I was traveling back home to Georgia but couldn't leave until the next day. I was still injured, sore, and bandaged up, I wasn't from the area, and it was raining. I got Lyft to the nearest store for clothes, and this hotel was nearby afterward. I was so relieved to see they had availability, and it was walking distance. I checked in and got to the room. Immediately, there was a dingy, musty, unclean feel. I tried to shake the feeling as I got ready to take a shower, but I noticed a bug in the bathroom inching under the floor fold. I ran out, tried to reach the front desk by phone....phone didn't work. I then grabbed my shoe and tried to hit it, I only got one leg. I was like a wrapped mummy trying to swat a bug. I took a picture because I couldn't believe it. I grabbed my things and headed back to the front desk. I told them what happened and showed the pic. They gave me another room, no explanation or apology, but I got another room within secs. Arrived to the new room and the same feeling....I immediately checked the bathroom, no bugs, thank goodness. I took a shower and just wanted to rest. I pulled the covers back and I was blown away by a single spot of what looks like blood on otherwise pure white sheets. I kid you not, I felt like I was in a twilight zone😵💫...from the accident to that point at the hotel. I just couldn't believe it. I was in a two bed room, so I checked the second bed, nothing seemed crazy. I was exhausted, and I just collapsed. The next morning, I left, but I took another pic because I didn't have the energy to address my concerns at the time. Now that I am back home and better... this place needs attention to housekeeping, cleanliness, and bug control. The price wasn't bad but I've seen places much cleaner with similar prices. I'm glad this place was available during such a difficult time for me, but I would never stay there again if I could help it. I hope things improve. The lady at the front desk was nice.

Will never ever stay in this hotel again. While the check-in went extremely well, the room was the worst I've ever stayed in at Best Western. The air conditioner took almost all of the night to cool the room off to a comfortable level. The fan had only low speed so there was very little cooling. But the worst part were the bed bugs. I have no less than 16 swollen bite locations across my body from them. Beware of this property as it's the worst in the chain.

Rooms: Outlets are too loose you cant connect anything because it falls out. The tv remotes dont work to turn the tv off. A/c keeps the room at a COOL 82 degrees even on its highest setting.

Need to deep clean this hotel as well as purchase new linen.
Rooms: Strong Smell like mold or preciously wet carpet entering the hotel and especiallyin the rooms. Electrical sockets loose and or not working. Outside appearance was horrible. Lawn care service needed immediately. This hotel looked closed.

My group stayed here on our way to Gulf shores(we had 3 rooms) We did not need anything fancy just a place to sleep. The hotel did not look anything like it was advertised, it was much more runned down. The rooms at first glance looked ok but upon father inspection there was old hair on the pillows and others were dirty. The towel for showers were dirty but folded as if they were clean, one of our rooms had no toilet paper, one of the rooms just had sheets on the bed but nothing more. We been driving for about 12 hrs at that point and all of us were tired but due to lack of security or feeling of safety two of our members stayed awake to watch the vehicles as there were people walking all around the hotel till about 4:30am. There is no breakfast as advertised and the lobby told us make coffee in the room. Overall it was dirty, unsafe, unsanitary and overpriced.

We took a chance on this hotel. Due to majority hotels being booked by people that had fled Houston due to loss of electricity from the hurricane. Upon entering we greeted by a nice young woman. I asked her if I could view the room first before completing check in. We had drove 3 hrs and I just wanted to ensure there was hot water, it was clean, microwave, fridge and AC working properly. She politely understood. The moment we entered the room there was an awkward smell in the room. I checked bathroom, smelled like bleach, things seemed fine in there. I went to bed , there was hair and lipstick on my pillow cases. I pulled back the sheets, hair in between the sheets and the top comforter was dirty and stained. The bath towels provided had holes in them and were stained as well. I immediately expressed my disgust and she told me they only had one other room and that was on the second floor. So we went up to the second floor to take a look at that one. That room was located right across from the elevator. The entire floored reeked of marijuana. There was trash in the hallway, sheets on floor outside someone's door and a random pair of cowboy boots sitting against the wall. I could also hear someone's tv or radio playing music extremely loud in their room. So I politely told her no , Id rather the first floor. I asked her if she could provide me with clean linens, disinfectant spray and fresh towels that aren't stained and or with holes in them. She politely said yes and apologized for everything. She even followed me to my room and helped me change the linens on the bed. I declined her offer to help me disinfect the room simply because it's not her fault the cleaners didn't do their job and I didn't want her to keep other guests waiting.
Next morning, house keeping came to get our dirty towels in exchange for clean ones. I gave her the disinfectant bottle to give back to the front desk since I forgot to bring it back after cleaning my room. She inquired why I had the bottle in the first place, I advised her of all the issues I found with the room and that it seemed the room hadn't been cleaned at all. She showed no concern or empathy. She politely thanked me for cleaning the room and said it looked nice. My fiance and I both looked at each other in shock. Parking fills up fast due to oversized construction trucks double parking, broken down cars and regular guest cars. None of the side doors open, no matter how many times you swipe your room key, you have to use the main entrance.
This hotel was not worth $200+ we paid to stay there for two nights. I have never been to any hotel where I had to clean my own room and change my linens.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse:
My sister and her baby who fled from Houston. I told her about the second floor room and that she would likely have to clean the room and change the linens before her and the baby slept. She said that was fine. She is exhausted and just ready for a proper night's rest. 1hr after checking in, she knocks to my hotel room door , saying she is checking out. She found dried feces and blood on the headboard and mattress when she was cleaning the room , she refuses to have her baby exposed to that and she can't believe this place is still open for business. She stated the girl at the front desk gave her a full refund after seeing the feces and blood herself.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!!
AND I REALLY HOPE THE NICE GIRL AT THE FRONT DESK FINDS A BETTER PLACE TO WORK INSTEAD OF THAT SLUM.

Room was clean except for A/C filters were dirty and bathroom floor had something on it that made it a little slippery. Small parking lot.
