Although they have a great selection of specialty items when you walk in the store, it's not enough to make up for how unbelievably unfriendly the staff is. It's not a one time bad day either. I have been many times and nobody greets you, smiles, helps or tells you to have a good day. Customer service is too important to spend my money here, no matter how good their deli area is.

Great selection of plants, vegetables, and prepared food. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. The sales on meat are worth the trip. This is always a good experience.

I showed up this morning at 5:15 for a bourbon Event that they were having the doors were supposed to be open at 6 AM there was a crwd of approximately 20 people standing in front of the deli. By the front entrance where you normally walk in there was a sign saying the line starts here so evidently the people were standing in the wrong area so I stood up in front of the sign that says line starts here. I Notice later the lady came out and started handing out what look like to be tickets By the deli side so I called and spoke to a manager and they said they would have someone come out talk to me the person that came talk to me wound up being the district manager when I showed him the sign and told him we've been standing there for around 35 minutes his rude reply was that a lot of people were out there since one o'clock in the morning and they were standing by the deli. But yet they still had sign where I was at line starts here. instead of apologizing he was very rude letting me know that when I called corporate a Monday that I would probably talk to him anyway so I was wasting my time complaining about standing up where they had the sign I am a local MossBluff resident that shops there on a regular basis Well not anymore!

Staff wasn't friendly. Produce sucked. Selection was limited. Prices were on the high side. Worst store we have been in for a couple states.

There's not many good grocery stores that we've found in Louisiana. Rouses are one of the better choices. Be advised that not all Rouses are alike. Ask the locals on where they grocery shop at. You'll more than likely get the same answer we do, that s the shop at different stores for different items. Hope that helps.

Great market with everything you need. Great king cakes and I always grab some to bring with me to Texas now that I moved away from Louisiana. May not be quite as good as a couple of the best bakeries in New Orleans but the are by far the best king cakes not in new Ireland at a high in bakery. Great store

Unlike the dollar store, WalMart,+ Any Walgreens & or CVS "ALL" have enough variety of nuts (sans -86 peanuts!) Mind you! They not only have enough options for someone to be picky when in the pond making their own trail mix but there's options one definitely doesn't get like sesame sticks bags of solely sesame sticks to add it to your mixture and pumpkin seeds of any kind please I'm big of you put sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds in your snack, nuts, errr trail mix ilse??*Pics (still needing those pumpkin feed from my local market!) Js... included for sole purpose of what Rouses' needs to stock on the shelf as per, for ppl that appreciate & or create their own 'customized' bowls and bags of trail mix that a lot of us survive on more than any meat or overtly leaf-y plant. ??? <-- (notta Salad-Shooter!)Nothing is on a positive note one thing the only thing I've seen rouses has above and beyond any Kroger's, Walmart, Kmart, Albertsons, all of them is the fact of Rouses' quality butchery, in choice cuts of meat! You get what you pay for and it's worth the extra buck without a doubt! ????
