“This was the perfect venue to host Rouge et Blanc this year! It was so nice to be under the big oak trees, shaded, and not on concrete the entire time. The layout was super easy to navigate and the weather was perfect!”
“I enjoyed my first visit to SWLA Pride Fest here! Beautiful day, hospitable people, and lots of delicious food to eat as well as fun things to buy and entertaining things to do while I was there! It was a great day overall. I would definitely do this again. I would visit Castaways again any other time and I would recommend that if you are considering going there that you should too! It's a whole bunch of fun!”
“We used the Enchanted Elegance Event Center for our baby shower, which was held on a Sunday. Pricing was very fair, the contract was reasonable, Ashley, the venue owner, was incredibly kind and wonderful with communication. She also was easily able to make vendor/rental recommendations. There was a very minimal list of instructions that was not a hassle for us at all when cleaning up after our event, and the space was perfect for the amount of people we had and the type of event we had. The chandeliers were a beautiful touch and the venue had TVs for music and picture slideshows during the event. It was really nice to have a variety of sizes and shapes of tables to choose from, with pretty white folding chairs to go with them. The venue had an additional warming kitchen for a really small fee, as well. The location itself has some parking but thankfully nearby businesses also offer their parking lots for use when events are happening here. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would consider this venue again in the future!”

“What a great facility. We are new to town and played pickleball here . You will most likely meet the owner who will immediately meet you at the door and treat you like family. It would be 6 stars if it was an option.”
“My wife and I went to the movies for the first time in years. It was our anniversary and we went to see Deadpool and Wolverine. The popcorn and the drinks were huge! The seats were very comfortable and the sound was perfect. The crowd size seating was awesome- not too big - enough in the theater to know other people were there but not so crowded you couldn’t hear the movie.
The people were great and the place was clean. We’ll definitely come back soon.”

“Great shows and latest movies as well, recent ticket pricing for Wolverine Deadpool movie was just over $10 per a seat! Haven't seen prices that low since I was 10!”
“We can't say enough how much we were pleased with our brief stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Charles! We needed a place to stay at the last minute and they were so accommodating and kind. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. We usually book a king suite room and they are ok but sometimes the couch or chair they provide aren't always that comfortable and the rooms aren't that much bigger - but here at Lake Charles the suite was so roomy and we felt like we could move around and truly relax. We were right by the highway but we didn't hear much traffic noise at all. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked and the kitchen staff was so friendly. We would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express & Suites to anyone traveling to or through Lake Charles!Rooms: As I stated before our king suite was very roomy. It was clean and the bathroom had a nice shower. We were grateful IHG had honored my request from my profile asking not to be by the elevator. It was so quiet....we didn't hear a thing which made for a restful night!”
“Everything was good except a couple of things. Shower curtain was short and would not keep water in tub, the shower tub water drained very slow, the carpet felt like it needed a deep cleaning done on it. The staff was super nice, especially the breakfast team. Food was good amd the location makes it easy to get to anywhere very quickly.”

“All of the staff was very friendly and helpful with planning our wedding, as well as coordinating the ceremony, just as we wanted. All the decorations were beautiful and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better memorable experience. We recommend Magnolia House one hundred percent. Thank you for making our day extra special!!!”
