Staff and management provided excellent service, our room was very spacious but it was NOT a comfortable stay.
The floor in our room was dirty and the shower head had a lot of build up. The double doors to our bedroom were difficult to open and shut. The curtains didn't cover the windows, so the parking lot lights were bright in our room and it felt like we didn't have privacy with the see through blinds. Our pillows were just hard small throw pillows. It was really difficult to sleep on and my neck is in so much pain from trying to.

Nice hotel in a great location with plenty of dining options located nearby. The staff was friendly and capable. A comfortable stay that serves a better than average hotel breakfast.

Poor management. Be very careful when staying here they input your credit card info and one of the workers selling your info using a fake VPN number that untraceable. Pay attention they say it's for incidentals but never ask you to insert it.

Whenever we go to Lake Charles Wingate is always our “go to” hotel. We are never disappointed. The attitude and hospitality of the staff is always warm and welcoming.

I would definitely stay here again and again. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was a chair in the pool the entire time of our stay and in the stairway there was mattresses stacked up. One of the best breakfasts I have had at any hotel. An absolute great place to stay
