Working in LaPlace temporarily. This Walmart has served me well over the last two weeks. Most employees are friendly and helpful. I do not recommend the Subway restaurant inside this Walmart.

Called this Walmart to ask if they had a particular item in stock. Waited 30 minutes on the phone for someone to answer. When the associate answered, I asked if the item was in stock and her response was "I don't know, you gotta come in and look".

I have been to Walmart all across the USA. The Laplace, Louisiana store has to win the award for the absolute worse store of any kind anyplace. The employees (except the 5-6 longtime older ones) are the most lazy, rude and uncaring employees I have ever seen. GOD forbid you need help or a Manager. I am sure that they have worked out a system where if a customer asks to speak to a Manager, they know to find a buddy worker to pretend to be a Manager. The place is dirty, messy, disorganized and simply pathetic. The Auto Service center is the most unprofessional workplace I have seen. They can barely fix a flat tire. BEWARE that place if you care about your auto.

This place is terrible. The employees NEVER acknowledge me. The customer service is disgusting. I went to this location last night on a quick run for some feminine products which were locked up in a case. I asked TWO employees in the area to help me retrieve said items and they BOTH told me "I don't know where the keys are" EXCUSE ME!! I politely said "Would it be too much trouble to ask you,the employees, to please go fetch someone who actually has the key". One of the employees,the male, left and never returned. I stood at that case for 5 minutes. Then watched another couple asking for something out of a case near the nail polishes. The same employee told them I don't have the keys what you want me to do. I left after I witnessed this. I feel so disrespected, truly. I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life at any other Walmart. Honestly they need to retrain that whole staff or just s*** the whole place down. I left without purchasing single item. This place will no longer have my business. I'd rather drive to Kenner before I ever set foot at this Walmart again. Beware of the Walmart in Laplace. Keep away.

the only thing I can say good is that I did get my flu shot. I wish now I had gone to my dr for it. MAN DID IT HURT!!!!!! I've had shots in the arm before, but never as painful as this one. Will not go back here for a flu shot!

The customer service at this Walmart is very unprofessional. There is no sense of urgency for their customers who help to pay their paychecks. I waited for 30 minutes just to get the correct price code for printed pictures (self printed pictures). Mind you, I had the receipt for the pictures that I printed but a specific code was needed at the register. The incorrect code was given which increased the cost of my pictures. I advise that it was incorrect, waited longer and longer...They provided a lot of excuses and very, very slow solutions to resolve the issue. The assisted manger (name begins with an M)on duty has no empathy or reasoning skills for Walmart's patrons. Why are you a manager? Mangers go above and beyond to ensure their patrons are happy with their service. Furthermore, every manager or supervisor should be trained to assist in every department to ensure the customers are being serviced properly and without incident. Every manager, supervisor or cashier should have access to All the codes needed to ensure fast and proper checkout. Waiting 30 minutes for the correct PC code is ridiculous! Oh yeah, they declined to discount my purchase! The assisted manager M stated that they don't give discounts because a customer waited too long. Like that was my fault! That was BULL! Any manager, with great managerial skills would know that the CUSTOMER COMES FIRST! The issue with this store is customer service. There are cashiers who are wonderful there but there are many who dont even give you a hello nor tell you what your total is. They just stare at you waiting for the money or they are too busy holding an inappropriate conversation with other workers instead of paying attention to what is being rung up and get rude with you when you question the price of something. This type of service has happened to me many times but sometimes I have no other choice but to go here so I guess I just have to deal.

The bathrooms are absolutely nasty, went to tell the manager and she did not care at all.
