“Good for the price; There aren't a lot of options in Leesville. We ate at Wagon Master Steak House and I would recommend it for dinner. We just dropped in for the night on our road trip to Dallas with stops in Hemphill, Lufkin TX, Nacogdoches TX and Gun Barrel TX. We were happy with everything during our short stay.

On a political note: Being a retired Army soldier, I hate the renaming of the Army Forts, for some time, I couldn't figure out what Ft Johnson (or whatever Ft Polk is now called) was”

“We came into pick up a rescue dog from Vernon parish animal shelter. We boarded the dog at Entrance road veterinarian center till we arrived.
We actually reserved a room at another motel, however the room smelled terribly of cigarettes.

So I pulled up the maps and found this little ? Gem.

The lady at the counter was very friendly and accommodating and a great conversation we had.

The room was very clean little bit of air freshener smell, definitely no cigarettes.
Bed was comfortable the sheets were soft and clean.

Very pleased and Thankful we chose this motel.

I like the name Montego it reminded me of the song Montego Bay that was a big choosing point for me and I was hoping it would be a nice place.

“This place is horrible! I stay at holiday inn hotels about every two weekends across the country. This was my worst experience ever! They tried 3 different rooms then I gave up asking for a refund. First room the door was broken. 2nd room smelled liked men's aftershave and after I was relaxing in the bed for 3 hours I roll over and find this computer cord balled up in between the pillows and it is NOT MINE! So so gross! Proof they didn't change the sheets for new guests. I'm exhausted from traveling I just want to sleep. So I give them one more chance.... Third room the front desk lady "inspects" the room while I'm packing up my stuff from room #2. She says it's all clean and good to go. I look in the shower and there is dirt spots all over it. I tell her I want a refund because I'm not staying here! She has to get on the phone with the manager to do it. She said the manager promised to call me Monday. Never happened. Housekeeping and management sucks! Front desk lady tried and was nice. That was the only good thing about the place.”

“Although the outside and pool need help. Don't let this stop you. The rooms are clean and neat. The lady that works the desk is kind and helpful. Prices are fair, and they are one of very few that allows pets.Rooms: Clean and neat. Take 20 minutes for hot water. But that was the only issue we had. And we didn't mind waiting for the hot water.”
