I just moved in and my experience has been amazing. MRS Heather, MRS Tammy and MRS Deanne have been nothing but professional, courteous and respectful. The house I received was clean and well maintained. I appreciate the support the staff has given me and my family during this transition. Thank you.

We love living at Timber Ridge! We haven't had any issues since living here. The staff, maintenance team, amenities, and facilities are all super nice. This is a fantastic option for both military families and locals.

I can't believe these apartments are still a thing! I lived here when I was stationed here in 2000. Lol, I guess they have never updated since then. When I moved out, they nickled and dimed me to death for charges so bad that an on post liaison from housing had to step in. There is nothing around there, and these people know that. The government needs to do better with housing. The reviews show that nobody cares about the military community still in this area.

This is a political issue. The governor of Louisiana is sleeping through his terms. He doesn't require to modernize this state. No one modernizes like in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. Their governments set rules for that. One more thing. You all need to wake up. Louisiana is not poor, far from it. Billions of dollars are coming to New Orleans every single day. International tourists are just the beginning. Those revenues need to go across the state.

Moved in March of 2022 left October of 2022. This was the most traumatic experience ever renting. Our first unit 3bd 2br had a serious fire ant infestation. It came to the point of keeping our furniture in storage, eating in our vehicle with two children, not using our kitchen, and being attacked by ants in our beds. Our two toddlers constantly being bitten. We couldn’t live a normal life for over four months. The maintenance worker is nice and tried to help but the problem would not stop. Finally transferred to a new unit in July. Upon move in everything seemed fine besides the normal “landlord special” flip of a unit. Shortly after moving in the ceiling on the 1st level started cracking and water was pouring down. I was concerned or ceiling was falling in. Maintenance came and said it was a smalll leak behind the shower fixed it and no further action was taken. Even though water traveled through the floors and the ceiling was damaged. Maintenance entered our unit without permission. Causing us to believe someone broke in. The front office seemed very non caring when I called about this issue. Your tenants are mostly service members and veterans. Which a lot of your tenants can have ptsd. That experience could cause them to panic like I did. Because I have ptsd. After our neighbor moved in next door we started to notice German roaches. These can cause serious health issues. Maintenance came and put out paste and gave us paste and that is it. No exterminator company was ever sent to our unit. This issue continued to get worse until we started getting sick and decided for the health of our family it was best to leave. Because once again our quality of living dropped severely. We lost furniture, our childrens toys, everything in our kitchen, and our newly bought Christmas tree. We even spoke to a wampold employee when they walked through and saw our living situation. I am disgusted and disappointed that this company and housing office could do this to military families. And we also know we are not the only ones. And instead of trying to fix both serious issues we dealt with the manager took a nonchalant approach. And views outdoor camping chairs as an issue. Other issues sink holes everywhere at the playground next to the pool. People smoking weed by the pool. And wasps everywhere. You destroyed our items, our Christmas and your trying to destroy our credit. Anyone who reads this post please take our warning into consideration

May the odds be ever in your favor. Old apartments with old appliances. You will have bugs…all types…even though they spray. No issues with office staff or maintenance people, had very little interaction with them. Not many options in the area, so you get what you get.

What can i say? If you want an apartment complex thats cares about business before their residents. This is the perfect place! We moved here as our first apartment, when its your first, you seem to ignore all the red flags. Living here A year and a half almost, we had every problem we could possibly have, from broken dishwasher, to broken toilet, to none of the bathroom outlets working, to the heat barely working, refrigerator going out, but we still maintained a healthy and look at the bright side attitude. We saw timber as the first good apartment until it was time to move out, then we saw a completely different side. Months before moving out, me and my wife began feeling really sick, and we would make jokes saying its the house but never truly knew. When it was time to move out, timber threatened us with “pro rated” rent or having to pay the full month since we notified them 23 days before. We were fine with that, but began to see how this move was going to go. After that we received a message saying there will be a walk through of the apartment 3 days before move out, and there never was. We then ordered a maid service to do a moving clean, and she did an amazing job, but told us she could not do the carpet. The carpet had stains, but its wasn’t ridiculous. The maid also made me aware that it was mold all throughout the apartment. HeAring this news, you can believe that anybody was furious knowing they have been feeling sick for the past couple of months. Now we come to the day its time to turn in the keys and we hand them over still without a walkthrough. A couple days later, we get an invoice for $900 for a carpet replacement, clean a washer and dryer, and a “broken” lightbulb. With this new information that i was given by the cleaning service that my apartment was filled with mold, i informed timber ridge. Timber ridge then trys to blame us for not informing them, and refuse to walkthrough the apartment to look. When we had plenty of service calls regarding cracks in the ceiling and and water damage.

My family and I lived here for three years. For the most part I enjoyed our long stay in this apartment complex, the neighborhood is quiet, and the entire area is great for running outside; I even enjoyed working out, outside my front yard. We lived here since before they created a lobby and gym and they came a long way with additional amenities.Maintenance personnel were prompt to fix our issues, friendly and courteous. They added new tiles in one of our bathrooms, changed the bathtub in another one, got rid of wasps hives, etc. I've seen other workers cleaning up the neighborhood grass, picking up trash and debris from outside. Others regularly power washed the walls and parking lots.Staff was very nice, respectfully, and prompt in disseminating work orders. I am very grateful to them and the apartment complex owner for taking care of us during Hurricane Laura; they gave us ICE when we were out of power for weeks, and made sure we were okay. Ice may seem trivial for a compliment but back then after the hurricane hit, it was hard to find ICE anywhere; we were grateful they had Ice for us.The only thing I would change about these apartments is, to upgrade the appliances and kitchen area. The cabinets (at least ours) was outdated, looked like some areas had been painted over and plenty, so the paint looked and felt cakey, appliances are outdated and some needed to change. Our fridge had some rust on the outside and dents everywhere, same with the stove.I wasn't a fan of the parking lot; we had limited parking until they added more. We had new neighbors who didn't park close to their apartment shed, instead they decided to park far back and too close, kind of like creating a T with their vehicles and ours, blocking our way in and out of the lane. We literally had to do a 3 point turn to leave for work. We brought this issue up to the office and I don't think it helped because new neighbors kept doing it; It would have been nice if they were mindful and considerate to others. Shame! Well, that was really our only issue outside our home, andwe dealt with it for a few months before we left.Despite the few negatives, I am satisfied with the apartment complex, maintenance, and staff. Thank you for everything you do no and did for us during our stay.
