Our only Sears in the area for appliances...Our only Sears in the area for appliances...unfortunately they can't seem to get appliances in on time. You get a 4 week delivery date, then they tell you it's not on the truck so in 4 more weeks you get a new delivery date wow.. still not on the truck and again another date 4 weeks away. Not our first time here either. Same thing happened with a stove back in February. Not sure what's going on however the sales lady or manager there said it was GE chip problems.. lol little does she know about General Electric. We ended up getting a credit on our card for this purchase as from what she said there are 4 other customers waiting from January for this same set. Trashy customer service who blames GE. We have given sears a ton of business with our rental places and this was the last straw.

Purchased an amazing new refrigerator here, very pleased with the purchase! Excellent warranty and product selection. Fan went out, SEARS won’t honor warranty to repair or replace! Almost 2 months for me and my children without a refrigerator for groceries during COVID-19. No return calls, on hold for hours and absolutely no one will even attempt to make it right. Go purchase somewhere else from a business who is honorable. Don’t waste your time or money ?

In a word..."TRAIN WRECK". Okay, that's two words but you get the point. Here is the story...Our clothes washer gave out a week or so ago and it was time to pull the trigger on a new set. I believe in keeping my money close to home and since I am a fan of Sears Kenmore, the first (and only) place I visited was our local Sears Hometown Store in Boutte. The staff was very friendly and for me, it was a "no brainer" on the purchase. The delivery was set for Christmas Eve...not thrilled but okay. I have to be at work for noon and since we were the first stop, I agreed. The day before, I received a call from the store owner establishing an "8am to 10am" window for delivery. That morning at 9am, no truck; 9:30am, no truck; 10am, no truck. I called and was told that their deliver truck from the warehouse was 2-hours late. Finally, some time after 10am, the truck showed up. The delivery personnel were friendly and courteous and had the appliances set up in no time. One of the men started both appliances to show that the dryer was heating and the washer was filling. "Okay", we are in business. I signed off on their deliver sheet, he made his way and I made my way. About 3 minutes away from the house, my son calls. "Dad, we have a problem. Water is pooling up in the laundry room and flowing into the kitchen". Long story short, we, along with the neighbor kid, spent the next 2 hours sopping up water and cleaning the mess. The delivery team did not properly install the drain hose and when the washer started to drain, the hose popped out of the drain.I am not done with them yet.

I bought a Refrigerator, and a weed eater from this store. It was a long drive ,but i thought buying a quality name brand from a quality store like Sears would be a safe bet. I was totally wrong about that my weed eater broke with in 5 months, and I now my refrigerator is broken. Kinda funny how it happened as soon as i paid them off. Its been more then a month that I've been dealing with sears to get it fixed, and I'm still waiting. I've called the store several times and when I finally get to speak to someone they make you feel like your bothering them. Not the same helpful customer service I received when I bought from them. I would suggest to anyone looking for quality appliances or tools to go elsewhere. What a disappointing experience

In and out in 5 minutes with a new washing machine. They even helped me toss it in the bed of my truck. Couldn't be happier with the service that was provided to me at this location. Very nice folks.

Buy ANYWHERE else! Do NOT waste your hard earned money or time at this Sears location! I bought a refrigerator with an excellent warranty, the fan went out. Sears refused to repair the refrigerator! My children and I have been without a refrigerator for the past 2 months during COVID. No one will even call you back. They take your money then turn you over to 3rd party customer service overseas. You remain on hold for over an hour at a time. They claim this is their normal business practice.

I recently had surgery & couldn't get out the house yet when my washing machine bit the dust. I called and told Kathy my needs. My husband & daughter then went to the Luling Sears picked up the PERFECT machine for our needs! Thanks for your expertise Kathy!

Technician called midday to say that his computer was down and couldn't bill me for the appointment, so would have to reschedule. This took place after waiting most of the week for the appointment. Obviously, I did not reschedule and called someone else.

Repairmen arrived on tine and repaired my convection oven door lock efficiently. The repairment pulled the built in oven gently without causing any damage to the cabinets. The only conplaint that I would have against Sears Hone Warranty is. that I was placed on hold for 50 minutes before my call was answered and redirected for appointment scheduling. I strongly believe that Sears Home Warranty needs to address this major deficiency if they want people to continue renewing their warranty coverage. On the other hand the service repair persons were professional, knowledgeable, timely and efficient.
