“Our lease at Grand Palms recently expired and we signed a new lease for another apartment in the complex. Sasha, the assistant manager, helped us make the process of applying for the other apartment, answering my many calls about electronically signing the new lease, and moving in go smoothly. She was so patient with my daughter and me!!
The apartment is the right size for us and they just changed the carpet. They give you a check-in sheet to fill out when you move in so you can record anything that might need to be fixed or even small things that might not seem quite right to you. The maintenance person changes the air conditioner filters I think it’s monthly, and the fire extinguishers are checked at least annually.
Since living at Grand Palms we have had to pay high utility bills, though. The minimum amount charged a month by the water company is $110.00, so there’s nothing we can do to reduce the charges for a small one bedroom, one bath apartment! The electric bill is also very high, but that is partly because my daughter needs to be more attentive to the temperature setting during the summer.
I almost forgot to mention that the complex is in a very convenient location. It’s close to grocery stores, restaurants, medical offices, gas stations, etc.”

“I lived in chenier for 3 years and was blown away by my experience there. If there was an issue (was never anything major but if ac had an issue or washer / dryer) they would be there within 2 hours to fix the problem. Cynthia in the office is absolutely amazing and they are always available to answer the phone. The community as a whole is a good mix of older couples and younger married couples throughout. No loud parties or anything in this community , strongly recommend to anyone looking for apartments!”
