Excellent place , all the tenants are all so very nice, management an maintenance is always so eager to help in any way. Work orders are always fast. The best crew around! The pool always soo clean an about everything stays well kept an tiddy, definitely the best property around.

The BY FAR BEST apartment complex EVER. Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Apartments are well maintained and comfortable with all appliances if needed. Garages are awesome and plenty of room to park SUV and storage space is greatly appreciated. Management is well run and staff treat you like family. Maintenance team are always fast to respond and very friendly and knowledgeable. The club house is awesome and the pool and patio is clean and well maintained. The gym is well equipped and convenient for those who love to workout. They have a private room that can be rented for private events or parties. The residents are friendly and quiet. Retiring or raising children here it is a quiet, safe and awesome place to live. Been here almost 3 years with no plans to ever leave. The shops and restaurants are AWESOME and upscale. Christmas was awesome with live band, free food and beverages for all and a Santa to take photos with. Complex is beautifully decorated with lights as well as beautiful Pond has gorgeous Christmas lighting.

The front gates are always malfunctioning and not working, I never know if they will actually open when I try to go through them. They can definitely cause damage to people’s vehicles.

I have lived at Chenier the past 2 years and I highly recommend it. I remember touring every complex in Mandeville and reading reviews and one said if you can afford the extra $ to live in Chenier it’s worth it, and I 100% agree. I have no complaints. Donna and Cynthia in the office are helpful and respectful. I have only had one maintenance request and it was for light bulbs. The staff keeps up with the complex well.The location of this complex is 10/10. I commuted to New Orleans every day for school- it’s the closest apartments to the causeway and conveniently, Walmart is across the street. 5 mins away from Pelican Athletic club and the lakefront.

I stayed here for about a year and was very content during my time here. It’s in a wonderful location and I adored how close it was to the neighborhood Walmart (within walking distance). The staff was always professional, but also warm and friendly. I had zero complaints about the unit itself. Some of the gym equipment could have used an upgrade, but nothing was trashy & everything was perfectly usable. Pool area was nice and the atmosphere was generally friendly. The gate was finicky at times, but was not obstructive. Only reason I left was due to some uncertainty about my roommate situation and would happily move back if it were convenient to do so. All of my negatives are minor nitpick things, or weren’t relevant to my lifestyle at all.

Got to be honest I was optimistic about moving in the staff was friendly enough on move in- no major issues until summer... the AC in our master bedroom has been out for MONTHS (3+) and we have had a hole cut in the ceiling- dust insulation and debris-EVERYWHERE.... all to find out that this where they cut has a support beam so they couldn't even get to the ducts... they left the hole for 5 days, until I called the office again... then the hole was fixed and I was told units that also had AC issues who reported them later than I did were more messed up so they get priority.... so here we are pregnant, and can't sleep because our master bedroom is a sauna. Called the office again, and it may be a circulation issue known to management... they did offer a window unit so we will be moving furniture to fit that in our room. Not to mention our power bill because we have been blasting it 24/7 to keep the temperature as cool as possible. So basically if you expect to have AC in a place you are paying to live- find somewhere else.
