I schedule a notary with the UPS store as it comes up when Googled and you make an appointment online on their website. I learned from the notary that they should call the notary and tell them about the appointment, but they don't, so I had an appointment scheduled, but notary. The notary is not at the UPS store, they come in for the appointment. Long story short, don't use the UPS store for notarizing.
So in reply to the UPS store response.
My work doesn’t accommodate me checking my email often. My question is why didn’t the UPS store contact the notary? If they had contacted her, instead of me, then all would have worked out. After all they had all the information. Then she would have known. We both would have shown up, and it all would have worked out.
According to the UPS website there is a notary on staff: “At The UPS Store Mandeville we have a commissioned notary public on staff ready to help you get your business and personal documents notarized quickly and efficiently.”
Are there other parts of your website that are wrong? Which parts? How much of the website is wrong?
Since everything provided on the website leads one to understand that all you need to do is schedule and show up, then the UPS Store needs to fixes things. Firstly, correct the website. Secondly, simply contact the notary when an appointment is scheduled. It’s really not complicated. It would probably even be good for business. At least it would be better than going online and blaming the customers.
Lastly this experience led me to explore other ways to get documents notarized. There are dozens of places in Mandeville: law offices, auto title companies, free-lance notaries and property title companies. I ended up going to the title company that helped me when I bought my house. The good news is they did it free of charge since I was already a customer. So look into that option. They were fast, friendly, and no appointment was necessary.

I highly recommend this UPS Store. John and his staff do an excellent job of meeting all of our shipping needs. When the materials need to be there on time, every time .... they get it done.

Terrible service. Do not use this location. Refused to return a package with a paid for return label in the same box that was used to ship a broken li ion battery. Complete waste of time and money.

I’ve been using this location for shipping/pick up/fax services for the past 18 yrs. The staff is always accommodating, friendly and helpful. Any packages being shipped out have been fully explained, concerning, cost and delivered time lines! Never once have I had an issue with John or his staff! Considering the amount of Amazon returns that I have personally seen being processed at this location, I think they are doing an excellent job! Keep up the good work!

I have shipped hundreds of packages through this store without incident.

My family and I have been using this UPS Store for many years. We have A LOT of packages coming and going. John and his staff have always been great! Even during the Holidays when things are extra busy/stressful we have always been met with courtesy and helpfulness. Don't know what we'd do without you all. Keep up the great work! :)
