We really appreciate having this Market to shop at, they carry so many products that we just can't find anywhere else locally. Tonight I am sad to say that I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience checking out. It seems that this location is falling into the trend of other Walmart locations and only offering self check out. It this is going to be the new normal here I will have to shop at Rouse's and Target instead of my favorite Neighborhood Walmart Market. My spouse and I do not support the downsizing of human employees and we certainly are not being paid to operate a cash register.

This review is about my most recent visit on 11/12/20, previous ratings would average to 3.75 stars for this location. There was no wait either of the two times I came to the pharmacy this visit. Sheena was incredibly helpful and friendly right from the start. She immediately found a prescription that I was told two weeks ago by a different employee Walmart never received, when in fact they had received it a month prior when I had it filled the first time and still had two refills left. She answered all of my questions quickly and effectively. Sheena also helped me get a better price on both my wife’s and my prescriptions working through our insurance, a discount card, and cash payment saving us about 60% of the original cost. She showed only patience and understanding while expressing a genuine desire to help while running the prescriptions through the three different options!My experiences at different Walmart Pharmacies around the country have not always been the greatest, unfortunately a few of them quite poor. However, thanks to Sheena I had a seamless experience today that was both pleasant and time efficient. This visit left me with the feeling of a small town pharmacy experience that I haven’t had since moving down to this area. Keep up the good work Walmart Neighborhood Market Pharmacy and take notice that you have a customer service star employee in your midst, the Pharmacy Technician Sheena!I would like to genuinely say thank you to Sheena for your professional, kind, courteous service and for making this visit such a wonderful experience. In an age of electronic induced disconnection as well as mandatory social distancing and a generally poor service industry attitude it was a breath of fresh air to leave Walmart with a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart and reminds me that there are still good hearted people in this country and it is worth fighting for.

This Walmart use to be a great place to shop. However, after many years of shopping at this neighborhood Walmart, I feel as if I am not welcome any longer due to a few workers that are at the self check out lines. They are very rude when they stare you down as if you are trying to do something bad. I, along with others, don't feel comfortable shopping at this Walmart any longer. I have since started shopping at other grocery stores within the area and I am much more comfortable. This Walmart needs to be looked at by their larger corporation.

Very nice cashiers!! They are always so friendly and have worked very hard and still kept their smiles during this time of COVID-19 worries.

Not a big fan of Walmart Neighborhood markets. I am more used to the super centers where prices are lower and more selections. I suppose the premium prices are justified by being in your "neighborhood".

STILL WAITING ON MY W-2! Location is ideal for me, prices pretty good, but don't expect there to be a cashier in the store at all in the morning. It's ridiculous that I spend well over $100 on groceries and have to use self check out! If I have to use self check out, then I either want a discount or benefits for being an employee. DON'T USE SELF-CHECK OUT!!!

Horrible service. The pharmacist is very rude. He argued that I did not have any prescriptions filled there (which I had), then he said "oh well, I typed your birthday in wrong". He proceeded to tell me that my physician filled out the script wrong- He did not offer to call the physicians to clarify.-- I will never use this pharmacy again- Walgreens and CVS staff are much nicer--- remember dude- folks come to the pharmacy when they are not feeling well-- you should try to be a little nicer, or go get a research job so that you don't have to talk to people.

We had our daughter's prescription sent here, and when trying to pick up the medicine we're told her coverage has been cancelled. Upon calling the insurance provider, we are told everything is in force and there should be no issues. We go back to the pharmacy, and an annoyed worker says to call Optum RX; there must be a problem on their end. Upon calling Optum, they say everything is in force and call the pharmacy personally to verify. The Optum Rx rep gets back on the line to inform me the pharmacy STILL couldn't verify AND rushed her off the phone!!! I'm honestly not sure why the workers at this pharmacy are so disinclined to help, but at this point I'll call the Dr. in the morning to have the prescription sent elsewhere. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDES.

This grocery has a wonderful selection of food items, I was really surprised. I was able to find my favorite brand of Korean instant noodles! It can get very crowded in the afternoons, but there are quite a few checkout lanes. I have experienced the registers malfunctioning a couple of times and a rude employee (commenting on me and my friend buying a lot of ice cream...it was Halo Top). I've also had run ins with a couple of creepy dudes here, but they can't really control that. It is in an out of the way location if you don't live in this part of Mandeville.

The self service scanner is extremely slow. The selection is limited and the prices a bit higher than the Super Walmart which is only a few miles away.
