I have been with WST for 21 years and have absolutely not one complaint with the service. I was reading some of the reviews here and I find it hard to believe that we are talking about the same company. I did notice that no one is complaining about how much the service cost. If you have this company, be thank full because you would have to choose between food or electricity with CLECO.

who in the right mind would cut off people's electricity at only 11:00 at night. I think they should reimburse everyone they've had to inconvenience considering the amount of money we have to pay for this unfortunate necessity

This is the worst energy provider in St. Tammany. I highly recommend going somewhere else if possible, nothing but outages and hours upon hours of waiting. and on CHRISTMAS.

I went this morning to take care of a bill at the Abita Springs location and were greeted by two of the most friendly ladies. It is so refreshing to see people that are happy to see you and work to immediately solve your problem. I appreciated the professionalism and kindness they showed. I can pay on line, but might just pay at this location so I can enjoy seeing them again. Thanks ladies! ?

I've been struggling financially because of involuntary unemployment and how tough it is to find a job that pays enough these days. All I have left to my name is $63 on my credit card. I called WST to ask for a little bit more time to get the rest of the money to satisfy my past due balance without my electricity being shut off. I informed them that I have a job interview coming up and that I'm currently selling all of my belongings to get the money to pay my bill, but that I could use my last $63 to settle half of my past due.The manager I spoke with was very insensitive to my struggle. She insisted that I have the rest of the money by Friday, which made me feel as if she didn't listen to anything I said. When I told her I wasn't going to have all the money by Friday, but that I could pay half of the past due this week, she insisted that I pay $78 instead, and she would not put me in queue to get my lights shut off.I had to repeat to her multiple times that all I have is the $63 on my credit card. She told me that there was not much she could do, then, and that if the main office called, she would have to disconnect my service.I'm doing the best I can, and have been doing the best I can for the last 6 months, but it seems like these people don't comprehend what it means to be in hard times, financially. If I had $78, I would have offered it. And if I knew I'd have all the money by Friday, I would have paid my bill on the day it was due.I can't wait to leave Louisiana.

Called WST and reported downed live wire in my yard 2 times. They came out to restore power to neighborhood. My husband had stepped into yard. They turned on power without taking wire down. Thank God he wasn't closer to wire or I would've been widow. Called screaming at them and agent was like, "I have no control over it" and kind of laughed. I so wish we could go with another company.

I have had WST Electric since 1981. Their office employees have always been professional, polite, and kind. Their lineman are absolute heroes, as our power is always restored quickly. I have been impressed from Day 1, and particularly today, August 14, when, after severe thunderstorms, they got power back on in just a few hours. Thanks to all who work there!

Power goes out every 2-3 weeks and don’t come back on for hours! I study so it’s a big inconvenience when it happens.

Power kept going out -Spoke to a representative and they were very unapoligetic. Stating the plant was vandalized - I asked, what are some precautions that you all are taking to stop this from happening. They took my number and stated someone will be getting back with me. My bill will be adjusted.

I think it's really horrible that senior citizens cannot get live wires that were brought down by a tree taken care of and fixed. My mom has had these wires laying in her hard and on her house for 2 weeks because "they have to wait for enough tickets to accumulate in an area before they come out." This is a really dangerous situation especially for an older citizen. Good looking out WST /sarcasm.

Thanks to Danny and his crew that came out in abita springs on Saturday nite and worked endlessly to get our power restored. As a team they were positive professional and assured us that even though we were the only house effective, we would have power before they left, (even had to kill a copper head on the service line.on their way to change out the transformer). Way to go WStTelectric for having these folks on your team.

We used WST for 20 years and they are excellent. Good service and exceptionally good rates. Sorry to be leaving them.

No problem with this service until recently. Now, every little storm knocks the power out. I figured things would be better since Ida. Improvements to the grid, clearing of dead trees and overhanging branches. As it turns out, I figured wrong. Hours and hours of “power on”, followed by “power off” 10 secs later. On and off and on and off endlessly. Are these people just messing with us?
