I stayed there four nights last week, and the experience was absolutely horrible, it’s like my biggest nightmare and literally gives me PTSD for staying in hotels now. Found bed bugs all over my bed, hotel didn’t care, won’t do anything to resolve the issue but switching me to a new room. Won’t clean any of my stuff, told me I was the one who brought it in. Can’t talk to a manager until 12hrs after they were first notified, nobody bothered to call her but one at 9am the next day. Front desk told me I have to do my own bedding after they let off the bomb for bedbug killer in my new room. Hilton corporate won’t do anything, told me I will have to talk to the hotel. This place couldn’t care less about their customers. I lost about 200$ during this stay. Stay away from room 205, 216, and 227 if you have to be there.

Friendly service, a good breakfast and a location across the highway from the casino, all good points overshadowed by dirty face towels in our room.

We arrived on monday afternoon. There was a big storm, lightning and lots of rain. Got up and turned on the shower and rusty water came out! Found out the storm knocked out the water for the entire area. We had plans during the day so we thought things would return to normal. No water all night. Can't flush the toilet! Checked out this morning. No compensation given. Will need to dispute the charges...

We stayed in one of the king suites. It was spacious and clean, and had a sofa with a pull out bed. The TV was mounted on the wall on an adjustable bracket, allowing you to turn it in any direction you choose. The kitchenette area had a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean, and I loved the mirrored sliding closet doors, which gives you a full-length view of yourself. The shower has bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. The bodywash they provide smells amazing, but I did not try the shampoo or conditioner. The bed was super comfortable. The free breakfast they provided was delicious, and there were so many options from waffles, omelets, ham, grits, cereal, fruit, pastries, etc. The staff was very friendly as wellI will definitely stay here again!Walkability: The Casino is within walking distance, if that's your thing. We were visiting friends.

The rooms are tiny and have a tiny amount of space for unpacking and storing clothing. The mattresses and pillows were in the lower end of average because of wear. The luggage cart is nearly impossible to use. It was designed completely around the modern style decor and missed the mark for functionality. It's a battle to get the ridiculous luggage cart to fit in the elevator and again into the narrow hallway that leads into the room. The room and all common areas were oddly styled but very clean. The decor reminded me of the house in Beetle Juice after the new couple renovated. It just doesn't work. The local staff is the bright star of this hotel. We were impressed with the courteous front desk attendants, accommodating house keeping and delicious breakfast. They really work hard to provide above average details for the normal breakfast buffet.Waffle station: Vanilla or pumpkin flavored batter, mini chocolate chips, Nutella , sprinkles, whipping cream and various syrup options.Popular cereal is available in prepackaged bowls. The hot buffet included fresh biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs and sausage patties.Creamy grits with options for adding grated cheese and real bacon pieces.Beverages including fresh juices, milk, hot chocolate, hot tea and coffee. Extra touches such as flavored creamers and sweetener pleased our group. There's also an assortment of fresh pastries and fruit along with yogurt.I recommend this hotel in spite of the oddly designed decor completely because of the staff that makes it a pleasant stay. We appreciated the efforts they made for us.

Don’t stay in room 230Safety: Two main comments arePositive - the receptionist was the nicest woman I’ve ever spoken with, kind hearted, considerate, and happened to have children living in same city I am from.Negative - smoke detector in 230 was super sensitive to shower steam and would not stop alarming continuously after the initial trigger from STEAM coming out the bathroom. They had to change my room to a suite and offered to comp the night so those were both solid good faith efforts by their excellent staff.

Comfortable bed & good coffee. The room could use some deep cleaning. There was dust on the shelf below the vanity in the bathroom and also stuff on the walls. The room could use a good wipe down. Otherwise the stay was nice and the room provided good rest until the cleaning crew came in early in the morning and we could hear bumping on the wall, room 107. Biscuits and gravy was missing from breakfast.Rooms: The room could use some deep cleaning. There was dust on the shelf below the vanity in the bathroom and also stuff on the walls. From the time we walked in the doors to check in until the time we checked out to leave, staff members were kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the dining area was clean and accommodated a large amount of guests. Amelia went above and beyond to ensure our group was taken care of during our stay. She was able to make great suggestions on dining and activities for a large group which included kids. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our team booked here for the Dixie Softball World Series in Alexandria, LA. It's worth the drive to stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can tell they love interacting with guests. The staff has helped us with finding things for the girls to do during downtime and booking large party reservations at local restaurants.Rooms: Clean well maintained.Nearby activities: Casino, movie theater, etc across the road.Walkability: Wendy's next door.

Rooms get a 5 star ONLY because of the amazing ladies that clean those rooms. They are what makes that place great. Good job ladies.Noteworthy details: The janitorial staff goes far above the rest of the hotel.
