I bought food and dr pepper from here and right when I sat down to eat it they told me I had to leave the property would not eat here anyway the eggs were turning green and the grits were under cooked and the sausage was old

Welcome to another episode of the Food in the Hood Chronicle.I'll start by saying, this place is located in one of the shadier parts of town, so do be careful.Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by both fellow customers and the friendly staff. The atmosphere had a comforting southern vibe, and the food was presented cafeteria-style. My initial intention was to order the yakamein, but I was far too hungry to wait for it to be made, so I opted for something quicker.It was apparent that some of the dishes had been sitting out for a while, so my advice would be to give them a good stir to freshen up their appearance.Selecting my meal took a little while because there were so many tempting options. It was clear that a lot of care had been put into the offerings. The person behind the counter exhibited excellent customer service, patiently helping me navigate the menu and even providing some small talk and recommendations.In the end, I settled on the following: Lasagna spaghetti, Chicken and potatoes, salt and pepper chicken wings, and boneless fried chicken. I opted to get it to go, as I didn't want to dine in the area.The Lasagna spaghetti was actually pretty good. It was seasoned well, and I particularly enjoyed the simple cheese topping and the generous amount of meat. The other dishes were also seasoned well. The boneless chicken could use a sauce to make it better. The only downside was that some of the items were a bit on the greasy side.In summary, Quick N Karry is a decent place to grab a quick meal, offering a good quantity of food for the price. Is it a culinary gem? Not exactly. But it serves its purpose well as a quick food spot with plenty of options. So, if you're looking for variety and value, it's worth a visit.

Food is always fresh. Made hot. Wonderful people with great taste in food. Prices are very fair. It’s a lot of food on one plate. The bathroom is always clean as well. One of my favorite lunch places. But they are also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice friendly people, even the other customers are friendly people.

This place offers fresh hot food daily! There are over 20 items to choose from ranging from boiled items, crawfish, poboys, chinese food, and soul food! Any craving you have, they're sure to satisfy. Don't forget a huge selections of cold drinks, beer, and liquor so you can get your fix at any time! Perfect for a quick lunch stop or a dinner when you're too lazy to cook! I loveeee all of the food here and haven't found anything I don't like!

Absolutely disgusting. I will never eat here again. The chicken was more bone than chicken and weird cuts I've never seen before. The pig feet were under cooked and covered in hair. JUST NASTY

I don't visit often....due to incidents in the past. Not my own, lol!! I am sure there is a history, with certain patrons, but I don't need to witness it. I'm just in here for the beef stew, shrimp ? with broccoli ? and the lo mein. The prices are reasonable. The portions are worth the money. The service is quick and now for the last four months it comes with a smile and polite conversation. The food is delicious. They are consistent with the flavor bombs. The food is well seasoned..sometimes a little too well ???? someone has has heavy hands with the ajinomoto. Feet swelling up like a puffer fish. There are many go to's on that steam table, you just need to find out which one is yours. Get the potatoes or the string beans as sides, YUM? ? ? ?!!! Just saying!!! You choose your own dream to go plate, I did. I will be back in line choosing my one meat, two sides, once the swelling goes down.

Was desperate and hungry. Gave this place a try for lunch, server was rude just cared about the girl he was talking too, the food was not food. More like left overs for the dogs...

I came here to get a drink just a few mins ago. Because I did not like the other customer behind me being close to me cause of variant being out as I was walking out and told the man that was close to me oh she has an attitude #1 I had no attitude!!! But this little young girl needs to show respect n stead of trying to be a THUG GOOD LUCK CAUSE YOU WILL LOSE MY BUISNESS AND ALL MY FAMILY MEMEBERS
