What a Gem.. I found this place while out working . It was the best hamburger I had in years.I had a handmade patty, not a frozen premade stuff. They even grilled my onions. It was great.. I will be back. Service was friendly southern charm. The general store was full of homemade jams and other treats next time. I'm going to try the sausage as a side.. lol, because I'm already craving another ? burger.

Just left there and they have the best hamburgers you will ever eat in your life! We have been a few times and each time they are great! The people are so friendly and definitely define what southern hospitality is! We live about 45 mins away, but it's definitely worth the drive for great food. The smoke boudin is also amazing! Thanks Mr. Havens!

Great lil place to stop. Greeted and waited on by friendliest people and there are tables for dining inside and out. The burgers are the best! Fresh real beef patties, hand battered onion rings, and hubby had his favorite fried okra yummm. They offer a menu full of favorites- fried fish, shrimp, chicken strips, pork chops and chicken fried steak. Breakfast items- omelettes, biscuits and gravy, croissants, and breakfast burritos. Store also offers Hunt Brothers pizza, other hot items, boudain, deer and pork sausage, fresh eggs, home canned salsas, beans, jellies, cane syrup and homemade pies.

The burgers are unbelievably good, actually all the food is sooo good. The owners are super nice and you always run into someone you know for some fun lively conversations,!!

My family and I have eaten here a few times in the past couple weeks and every visit has been great. The new owners are very friendly. Our food arrives in a timely manner and is fresh and delicious! My youngest loves the corn nuggets and my favorite is a cheeseburger with grilled onions and a side of fried okra. No pre-packaged burger patties, I can tell these thick patties are made fresh with love!

Nice local general store that also serves burgers, boudin, suaseage and such. Can also get Foreman's sausage and local jelly and jams. Worth a stop if you are any where near.
