Exceptional Service. Their name says everything....
My mother was with a previous oxygen provider ( company name starts with an R and ends with a h. )Their access was zero. They would not answer the phone. They would not return messages left. I once called on a weekend and waited on hold over 30 minutes without speaking to someone.
Access answers their phones promptly. I can walk into their store an receive immediate service. This team understands the critical nature of an oxygen provider. I without hesitation highly-recommend Access Respiratory Homecare to everyone who is in clinical need of their services.
Simply put, Access Respiratory Homecare is: The-Best-Of-The-Best!! If they are good enough for my Mother, they are perfect for you.

Beau and his team turned a serious respiratory illness on a vacation into a much more manageable situation. We were on a cruise, had an issue requiring oxygen and a wheelchair when we docked. I had never met the team, and I am not even from Louisiana. The team came together and we were taken care of immediately upon returning to the USA.
I would give 100 stars for courtesy, professionalism, care and follow up care.
Thank you all so much for alleviating some of the stress from a very serious issue.

CAN'T GET TO TALK TO ANYONE WAS NOT THIS WAY BEFORE WHAT IF I NEED THE SUPPLIES TO SAVE MY LIFE AND CAN'T GET TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE. THEY NEVER RETURN YOUR CALLS.

They are beyond patient and kind to my 86 year-old mother who goes there often. If they don't have what she needs, they mail it to her the service is fantastic. The people are super sweet and professional, and they handle the elderly and infirmed with true tender concern.

God send business! Being out of town in the area, this was the ONlY location that was able to provide me with the medical supplies I desperately needed. I called several places in the area, ACCESS, had the best customer support and service on the phone and in person. When in need, ACCESS was there when the rest weren’t. Highly recommend!!!

I was unpacking my bags at my hotel, looking forward to a good night's sleep, and spending Thanksgiving week in NOLA. But then, I realized that I'd forgotten to pack the power supply for my CPAP machine. For those of you who need/use a CPAP machine, you know just how big a deal it is to not have it while out of town for a few days...sleep is next to impossible, and whoever's unfortunate enough to share a room with you will be miserable. After an awful night without my machine, I spent the next morning calling every sleep clinic and medical supply shop in NOLA looking for a replacement power supply. Everyone seemed to point me to the same place - Access Sleep & Wellness Center. On the phone, the Access team was extremely understanding, and encouraged me to bring in my machine ASAP so they can see if they could match it up to anything that would get me up and running. I immediately packed up my machine, jumped in an Uber, and made it to Access within in less than 20 minutes. Once there, the Access team could not have been nicer, more understanding, or more helpful. Within 5-10 minutes, they'd matched my machine to an older power supply they had laying around, and had me on my way back to the French Quarter in no time. Access, without a doubt, saved my entire week - for that feat alone, they're gods. But even if that weren't the case, they'd STILL receive my absolute highest recommendation based on the level of service. Bottom line: If you're in NOLA, and you use a CPAP, Access is the only place to go. Period. LV

Top-notch service and reasonable prices. They blow the competition away. If you live in the area and have sleep apnea, this is the spot. I have been around and made the mistakes already. I know what good is; it's these fine people.

Customer service lack’s response, takes long time to return calls, and after they receive doctors order for cpap equipment, it’s been over a week and waiting to get a call to find out if they will service me or not.

I came into the store with questions about products to help improve comfort of equipment. I was met at the counter by Devin who was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was offered several options. It was refreshing to have such professional staff who were so helpful. I will be back in the future.

My wife has Sleep Apnea and I being a physician for 41 years ( retired because of health issues) take care of her medical needs with the help of physicians. Both my wife and I are very pleased with the service we receive at access respiratory homecare. I want to mention. Mandy Grillot who helps us with her needs. Whenever I contact her, she responds immediately and make sure that any issue that we have is resolved, almost instantaneously.Besides being efficient ,she is very kind, patient,and compassionate and in my humble opinion she is an asset to Access. Thank you Mandy for your care, and we wish you success in all your future endeavorsDr and Mrs Farokh Contractor.

I love this vendor for my CPAP supplies. There are, however some opportunities I believe they can improve in how they service their customers. Presently myself, my significant other, and recently, my father joined Access for their CPAP needs because of my referrals to this company. It's very unfortunate because I came from a nearby competing provider that was part of Louisiana's largest health system, but I came to Access Respiratory because of them being local and me trying to support a local business. I work in healthcare, and often near patients so it can be hard to "catch" their phone calls but when I return Access Respiratory calls I have to almost always wait for "someone to call back" which lately has lead to an endless "back and forth" trying to get supplies ordered, handle billing issues, etc. My recent re-supply order, their applicable team 'text' me asking if I needed supplies, of which I said, "yes!" but then I ran into a hard stop when the agent asked me to text my United Healthcare Insurance card info over to them. Mind you, I am in Healthcare myself and didn't have the card info near me. I simply said that ALL insurance was the same (been 13+ years, no changes and same employer). Yet- the agent still insisted it was "their policy" to verify the coverage was the same. Here's the kicker - Access Respiratory had the right information to bill my CPAP machine rentals since December 2022, so what makes it different now? They've held up my re-supply because we are now chasing "back and forth" they call me and leave a message and then I call back, leaving a message. I just called back AGAIN today and was told "We need to call you back tomorrow before noon with an order total and to discuss your outstanding balance." This is very inconvenient where before, I was able to manage my supplies, balances, etc. ONLINE instead of waiting for a "back and forth" chase by phone. Being that I manage my order, my father's order and my significant other's orders - this is extremely inconvenient and I may even look to potentially switching all three of us to a competitor if they are able to take over. The sad part is that I have a family member who furnishes primary care and I no longer feel confident recommending Access even to my family member who does primary care and makes referrals as needed for various services. It's a shame because I love supporting local, but this is NOT convenient and this is costing my time and productivity from work, too. Don't get me wrong - the staff here are very nice and do appear to try to be very accommodating but what I initially perceived as very convenient is turning into an administrative burden. Like - why hold up my orders because you want to "verify" my insurance coverage policy number, but when I called United Healthcare, they tell me Access Respiratory bills them EVERY MONTH like clock work for my CPAP Machine rental! This is absurd. If you have time and patience - GREAT! Access Respiratory is amazing. But if you don't have lots of time, and want to "chase" each other by phone and leaving a magnitude of messages, then this is a great place to get your stuff. I love these people I really do, but this is starting to get to me and I have so little time already.
