Honestly i love this gym,, butt they have banker hours..they close for any holiday. membership is around 72-80 bucks a month and I don't mind paying BUT the steam room is almost always broken and they always say " we don't have a date when it will be fixed " I feel like for the money one is paying that the steam room would be a top priority for their customers .

A very up-to-date gym and the members that show up at 5:00AM are an awesome bunch. The staff is great.

Chose this location through my healthcare provider. This place is the perfect place for me. None of the typical "gym mentality" members. Gracious, non-judgmental people who come to workout, experience community and leave. Staff are welcoming and attentive. The main draw (for me) are the year-round indoor natatorium. A choice of warm or cool water pools are available for classes, laps, personal cardio or therapeutic workouts. Well stocked aquatic excercise equipment. The locker rooms are well kept and the entire facility appears to benefit from regular cleaning. Classes, support groups, periodic health screenings, indoor track, cardio machines, designated weight lifting areas all make this a total package. Not to say it never happens yet I have not experienced long wait-times or overcrowding. Ideal for matured, active older adults and newbies. My only minus is it is a far distance from my residence. ⚜?

It is a Very Clean gym. It even smells clean ! The staff are over friendly and helpful . The equipment is in good shape. There is also a good variety of machines.

For the price they charge it is not worth it unless your insurance covers it. They can't seem to keep instructors. Big turnover with employees. Poor communication. Emails after the fact.

I'm giving one star based on a couple of interactions I've had with the manager, Chris, and his dismissal of complaints about the steam room. This manager seems to care less that the steam room is constantly not working well. I don't want to hear that no one has complained about it in 2 months. I'm complaining about it. It doesn't work! Very unprofessional management! I do not want to continue with my membership anywhere where the manager doesn't care about your complaint and speaks to you in the manner this man did today!

Evidently there's a big problem with the pool that no one is able to fix so they have closed the pool indefinitely without any explanation to the members.

Recently LCMC decided to raise the dues to the Wellness Center. Instead of making NEW members absorb the increases, they hit the longtime members too. They cited "updates to equipment" as one of the factors for the increase. The ONLY new equipment was bikes for the spinning classes. Coincidentally, the spinning class is run by the two main managers of the club! I have not seen any additional new equipment added and I am there 7 days a week. Well, at least the new fees are paying for something. They finally fixed the leaking ceiling on the running track after YEARS of neglect. It's a shame to see "regulars" leaving due to the increases. I guess the main goal is money, not longtime friendships and community.

I have been a member of the East Jefferson General Hospital Wellness center for at least a decade. I read the angry review by the person who gave it one star. Maybe she had a bad day, or maybe the wellness center had a bad day. Nothing she has said about it have I experienced. The pools are clean. There are two of them. One is warm water; the other is cold water and is generally used for a few exercise classes and for swimming laps. The gym equipment is in good shape most of the time. The locker room is clean and spacious. And the people at the front desk are very friendly. I only have good things to say. Oh by the way, I have taken some of the classes that they offer for free. The ones I took were excellent. So it gets five stars from me, and five stars for every year that I have been a member. I have been to other gyms to check them out, and none compare to this one.
