Front counter was not friendly at all. Didn't make me feel good about leaving my son's car there, but my husband was ok with leaving it, so I followed his lead and went along with it.

Terrible communication. I made an appointment online for 9am Monday. They called the day before to confirm the details of why I was bringing my car in. I was told on the phone call that they MAY not be able to figure it out until Wednesday because the technician that did that work was off until then, but still told me to bring the car in Monday so they could try and fix it. When I brought the car in at 9am, I was told the same thing but that 2 of that technician's protégés were working that day so they were going to look at it and see if it was something they could handle. I called at 4pm to get an update and was told that they hadn't even looked at my car, and I was told at check in that they deffinetly wouldn't be able to do anything today. Also, they do not know when on Wednesday they would even be able to look at it. If that was really the case, why even confirm my appointment for Monday and tell me you would try to figure it out??

I have wasted lots of time and money at this Firestone location in the last couple of years. I always knew they charged too much, but I have had to bring my vehicle back to them at least twice because they charged for work that was not actually done (i.e. tire balance/rotation, front end noise investigation/inspection). Their estimates can only be described as criminal, and they deliberately try to take advantage of people when they have car trouble. The estimate below shows a simple heater hose replacement. Firestone wanted to charge $1,586 after the $100 diagnostic fee that was already paid. I brought it to a reputable mechanic and had it fixed for $663. If Joe's name is on your estimate you can bet that it's double or triple the amount that an honest shop would charge for the repair. Please don't waste your time or money with these crooks like I did.

I had a blowout in Natchitoches, LA on my way to Dallas. I was towed to a tire company there in Natchitoches where I bought the exact same FS tire. When I returned to Metairie, the dealer here reluctantly refunded my tire, but made a point of chastizing me for not going to an authorized FS dealer to buy my replacement tire. That was so stupid. I asked him, did he really expect me to drive 80 miles up I-49 to Shreveport on a front tire donut? He was totally indifferent to my circumstances and threatened that if it happened again, he might NOT refund it. PS... I am an 81 yr old great grandmother. He, on the other hand, is a fool.
