Rude and not polite hey acting like the bank was actually theirs. When I was a customer I felt like I was treated like a vagrant.

Went in today because my debit card expires this month and it stopped working. Can’t scan it or use the chip.First I wait for 10 minutes before anyone even asked me what I wanted. Was one of 2 people in the bank at the time. The other person was at the teller. The banker saw me and completely ignored me. She left the lobby, came back and then left the building and never bothered to see what I wanted. The teller running the drive up FINALLY asked me what I needed (nicely) and I told her. The other teller said “oh sue just walked in”. What??? I’ve been here 10 minutes!A different banker comes out of the vault and ignores me. Finally comes back and asked what I needed. Told her about my card being expired. She looked at it and told me “this doesn’t expire until the end of the month”. Me: “it stopped working”. Her: “oh” walks off with my card. She comes back and says “well when did it stop working?” Me: “Sunday” her “there are transactions on the account” me “it doesn’t.scan. That doesn’t stop me from using it online”She leaves again and then comes back a third time and tells me “you’ll get another one in a week. We can give you a temp one, then a new one but they will cross in the mail”Like really??? My freaking card is expiring! It doesn’t work!! Why am I getting so much grief to get a new damn card???? And how can you be certain I will get my new one before the end of the month??Took my card back and left. Got he and immediately opened a new account online with another bank. Plan to move my money, to USAA and bank with them from now on. Was treated poorly by this bank after being there over 13 years. I’m not a problem customer and barely go to the bank. I live on my debit card and never use cash. This was completely unacceptable, especially for a bank that had literally ONE customer in it when I walked in.

I would give no stars if I could. Worst customer service ever. They don't return phone calls or emails.

Home Bank is great if you don't mind pretending it is the year 1878 and ATMs, computers, online banking, or perhaps even electricity have yet to be invented. They are sadly living in the dark ages where it takes 10 pages of paperwork and days of waiting just to be able to access online banking, set up online bill pay, or do any other (barely) technologically advanced banking. If and when you do get it set up, their website and banking portal is a joke.

Slowest bank ever!!!!!! Drive through is the absolute worst. The teller works between the inside window and the drive through & when one must make a commercial deposit, you must wait in the drive through lane FOREVER because that's the only lane available to commercial customers. I usually have quite a wait, however, I sat behind one car today for 14 minutes. I thought when I finally got to the window it was going to be closing time after I'd arrived at 5:00 & it was 5:14 when it was finally my turn & they close at 5:00. I feel sorry for the person who is behind me now since the teller disappeared most likely attend to the indoor window. In this day and age bank service should be much faster than that.

Home bank is a awful bank for small businesses. The debit cards are also the worst. The debit cards often work similar to a "gift card" at point-of-sale. If you are an officer on more than one company and both companies bank with them, and one company does poorly, they will close every account that you are an officer. This can really leave you and your other business partners stuck out. Lastly, there is a customer service issue. I have found on three employees across four branches that I have personally visited to be "friendly". The others act as if you are interrupting their day.

Dear Home Bank - When you took over BNO things changed right away. The friendly personable service I once noticed is gone. This bank has been sold and pieced around so it is not even recognizable. Everyone is too busy to talk to you when you call and they just want you to move on. Well, I am now moving on big-old-conglomerate-now-Home Bank.
