I called in advance to set up an appointment to get an estimate on the repair of my vehicle and was told there was no way I could be seen my the angry owner I'm guessing. Don't even attempt to go there.

I will never use jims auto body again for anything. My 2020 gmc sierra at4 was brought there for a few little scratches and when I received my truck I had overspray on every window and on the body of the truck. I paid Tony's auto salon 2k to put a two stage polish and then ceramic coat the truck which was suppose to be done.

Brought my son's car in because the two passenger doors wouldn't open more than a few inches and the tailgate wouldn't latch. He said he could probably have it done by the end of the day, but he was short handed that day. No problem. I went home. He called TWO HOURS LATER, all done. He described what the problems were, what he did, charged significantly less than I'd feared. Nice guy, great job, good price.

Brought my car here to have the windshield replaced. The quote was fine and the work was completed in the time they said it would be. The mechanic who met me when I dropped off the keys was helpful and polite. When I arrived to pick up the car and pay, the clerk asked me if I was paying with a credit card, that there would be a fee of $19. I said I had a debit and a credit card, but had I known about the fee, I could have brought a check. I had a relative in the hospital that day and had to get back, so I paid with the credit card. As I gave her the credit card, the "Jim" came in and started aggressively explaining how credit surcharges work, at which time I told him I understand the process, but had I known ahead of time that they were applying it to debit and credit, I could have brought a check. Live and learn, no big deal. They should clarify that debit and check payments do not garner additional fees ahead of time, and I know to ask about it beforehand in the future. After I paid, they couldn't find my key fob, and Jim said it was likely still in the car, which was parked in front of the business at the curb and left unlocked with my belongings in it. This was annoying, but I rationalized to myself that it couldn't have been there long and it was in front of the business. Jim came around the counter to exit the office with me and sort of shuffled around in front of the door. I wasn't sure what he was doing until he asked me, "Are you scared?" I realized he was referring to the mask I was wearing (as stressed at the federal, state, and local levels when in public in this time of Covid-19 and in our area which has been one of the hardest hit in the U.S). Now, this guy wasn't wearing a mask, nor was his office clerk. I personally care for two family members who are in high-risk categories. Suffice it to say, that was strike three. Won't be using them again and certainly won't recommend them to friends, family, or colleagues.

Acceptable body work, but will not work with insurance. Even though the insurance company of the person who smashed my car agreed to pay the full amount of Jim's Auto Body's repair estimate, Jim's Auto Body refused to return my car for weeks until it actually received the check from the insurance company.

I have been using Jim since my husband wrecked my brand new Mustang in front of Jim’s business in 2001. I recommend Jim to all my family and friends. He does excellent work and always informs you of the process from start to finish. There are never any surprises. There are no hidden costs. His work is excellent. He has always gone above and beyond for my family or anyone I have sent. Give him a try. I know you will not be disappointed. Your only regret will be that you didn’t find this shop sooner.

Excellent service! Repairs were accurately estimated and actual repairs were great. Work was completed on time and within budget. Car was spotless when I picked it up. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim's to anyone that needs paint or bodywork. Jim listens to your wants and needs. I found him to very open, honest and upfront through the whole process! I could not be any happier.

Jim has done several of my family members vehicles for years. From minor repairs, touch up work, full paint and accident damage, each and every time with satisfaction and professional results. You cant go wrong bringing your car or truck to him. Very fair and trustworthy!
