Lafreniere Park in Jefferson Parish is a large, 155-acre space offering many amenities for visitors. It features a 2-mile walking trail, a lagoon, playgrounds, a carousel, splash park, and sports fields, including a FIFA Certified Soccer Complex available for rent. The park is family-friendly, with clean toilets, picnic shelters, and plenty of space for kids and dogs to enjoy. Visitors often appreciate the dog park and the opportunity to see many birds, especially Canadian geese. Although the park is a great place for picnics, playing, and relaxing, ongoing construction has caused some frustration lately. Overall, Lafreniere Park is a peaceful and enjoyable spot for outdoor activities, family outings, and spending time in nature.

Kids and parents everywhere having fun but also a place to just rest by urself. The grass needed cutting and I wish the carousel would return.
