We had an appointment for an in store design experience. We showed up for our 9:30am appointment and they had no idea we were even coming or had the appointment. We sat with a specialist and discussed furniture options but I left feeling unsatisfied and more confused about my future purchase. The in store design experience was not what I was expecting for the high end Pottery Barn furniture that I hope to purchase.

I ordered 4 stools. When I received the order, two of them were clearly stools that other people had returned. The extra parts were taped to the stool with a ziplock bag. So I asked to return the stools. It has now been two days after they received the stools that I sent back and still have yet to send our replacement stools. I can not get an answer on when my replacement stools will be sent. Online it just tells me that they cannot give me a date. This has been such a frustrating experience with their customer service. So many companies do better. Will not be shopping with them in the future.

The customer service at this location is embarrassing to pottery barn. The staff next door at pottery barn kids were extremely helpful, so I’m not sure what the issue is here. I waited to checkout first in line for 15 minutes and was glanced at by the cashier for a second and then he completely disappeared. I just left and ordered online. I was never helped or acknowledged by any of the staff members.

Inconsistent products when ordering. Absolutely worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with in my life. Deplorable. Not worth your time much less their own prices.

Terrible service. We were in to look at mattresses and were lied to about what mattresses we were looking at, their prices and availability. When we checked the tags and brought up how they hadn't shown us the mattresses we had requested, we were brushed off and our associate walked away rolling her eyes. No mask wearing from staff either

Overpriced, monochromatic furnishing, shopping at the old Pottery Barn was much more fun.

Congratulations to the loud mouthed Metairie Pottery Barn store manager who TWICE yelled for me to fully cover my face on Saturday. After leaving the store, I called the Governor's office to let him know what a GREAT JOB THEY're doing to perpetuate the COVID EMERGENCY MYTH. I'LL ALSO SPEND MY $9000 SOMEWHERE ELSE. GOOD JOB MISTER...........!!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A MATTRESS FROM THEM!!They will not back their warranty! They will have your order but erase the product information. I purchased two mattresses with a 10 year warranty and one is falling apart. I purchased it 3 years ago. Because I don’t have the info or the info on their website they are not backing the warranty. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVERY DEALT WITH! I spent almost $3000 on bedroom sets and this is how they treat their customers. The company of the mattress does not even have a phone number to contact. All they offered me was 20% off on a new mattress. What a joke! I will NEVER set foot in another PB again. Over priced crappy products!

After I placed an online order to pick-up at this Pottery Barn store, the confirmation page states that the order should be ready in 2 hours. Two hours later, I did not receive a call or email confirming I could pick up so waited until the next day. When I finally received the confirmation, I went to the store and was able to pick up my items. Only problem is, when I got home I noticed one of my items was missing a screw and bolt which caused the handle to come off. I left a message that same day because they were already closed, but by noon the following day no one called me back so I had to call again. The lady on the phone was curt. Before I could explain the whole story, she cut me off and stated, "Yes, and how can I help you?" When I was finally able to explain in detail, she told me that they were sold out of the item and she could issue me a refund, but there was nothing else she could do. Again, she was curt and sounded like she was overwhelmed about something. I told her thanks for the help and called Pottery Barn's customer service line instead and they were great. They couldn't help me find the parts or a replacement, but offered to refund me for the inconvenience and would pay for the return shipping back to them. Overall, the vibe of this store is offset by the employees that work there and that's a shame since Pottery Barn does sell some above average products at a reasonable price. Most (not all) of the employees come off as borderline rude and I've been here a few times already. Next time, I'm going to do everything in my power to shop online instead of coming back here.
