My experience at Tim’s was excellent in every way possible. Brian, the Service Adviser, went through item by item of the numerous issues revealed by the Digital Vehicle Inspection of my 2004 Toyota Pre Runner that has 213, 920 miles. He assisted me with prioritizing the issues and working out a plan to address them.When driving my 19 year old truck away from Tim’s, I was shocked, as it felt like it did when I bought it, new, from the Toyota dealer!I have gladly recommend them to several friends, giving them raving reviews! Great experience and great people! They found several problems with my wife's vehicle when I brought it in. Together, we went through each issue line by line and figured out exactly what we could fix today and what could wait. They were very understanding of my budget and I had my car back the very next day. I'll be back!

My first visit to Tim's was the best experience I have ever had at a mechanic. Not two minutes after I arrived, Tim took a test drive with me to discuss the issue, and called me two hours later with diagnosis. After getting estimates, I decided NOT to make the repairs due to the cost and the age of the vehicle. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I figured they'd quickly show me the door, but nope... two of the technicians took the time to talk to me (unprompted) about the repairs, my driving routine, and to advise me on replacement of my vehicle. I was greatly appreciative of their advice, which will definitely inform my purchase.So, although I did not proceed with today's repairs, I will certainly be bringing my new vehicle to these guys. They clearly love what they do, and they're different, and I dig it.

It's never fun to have to bring your car in to be serviced but Brian at Tim's Quality Car Care made it as pleasant as possible. He listened to all of my concerns. They provided me with an online list of all of my car's issues, rating them from urgent to non-urgent. After going over all of them individually I was able to figure out what I needed to get done and what could wait. They got all the work done quickly and fairly. My friend's car had an oil leak and I offered to call around and get it checked out since I had the day off. I called around to a few places and everyone was understandably booked, and then I spoke with Brian at Tim's. Brian asked questions about the last time the car was serviced and how old the car was, and recommended bringing it back to the place my friend had the oil change done last month. Brian was upfront about how at Tim's they would charge for labor and parts (completely understandable) that the oil change place should fix for free - if it was an issue with their work (turns out it was). Dealing with mechanics can be daunting - but next time I have an issue with my car (or my friends') I'll definitely be calling Tim's to make an appointment. Thanks again to Brian for kind and comprehensive communication!!

This place is awesome. We are having trouble with a certified pre-owned car and were having trouble getting into the dealership in a timely fashion. Nick called after I'd placed an online appointment request and offered to scan the car that afternoon! Amazing. After the scan, he honestly and realistically gave me not only a clear explanation of what was likely going on with my car, but also clear information on what my options were. The business seemed efficient and professional, and everyone working there seemed competent and kind. I will definitely be going back there for service needs and recommend them to anyone looking for a fast and effective auto shop in New Orleans.

After reading some of the one star reviews I find that my experience is similar. I will rate a three in the hopes they can raise their standard of care and rethink some of their practices. They are absolutely expensive, so that is something to be aware of (and I'm even compensating for a summer NOLA humidity surcharge). I usually pay $85 for an oil change and air filter replacement and had to fork over $162 here (ok, I didn't HAVE to, but if I didn't, I would have to pay for the car exam which is a nice fat fee). The thing is, I had only put 1564 miles on the car since my last oil and air filter change (!!!!!!!). Most of those were highway miles when I drove from Tucson to NOLA. I only drove it on 4 short grocery runs in the six months since it's been in NOLA. I just wanted to have the oil changed before I went an a road trip and have what my last mechanic called "a peace-of-mind check" which I also did 1564 miles ago. After agreeing to the diagnostic, Tim's Quality Care suggested all kinds of things that added up to $2700. I choked because I know what things cost and this was WAY more than it should be (and weirdly seems to be a common number among the unhappy customers). But hey, they can charge what they want. Maybe they are trying to deter new customers. But what they suggested needed to be done was questionable, including the oil change which they flagged as critical. (I'll let you bee the judge - I'll attach a picture.) Two tires were flagged as "critical" but they quoted me for four. And when they suggested things "because I didn't know the car maintenance history" I explained that I did know it and had just bought the car seven months ago and had had the car inspected and even had all the service records that indicated the car had been maintained meticulously. This is the crux of my complaint. The mechanic responded with something like, "But you, know, you've been driving it around for about four years, though". That's when my trust level plummeted. Not only did he not listen to me, the car was only three years old! Man, I've made friends with my mechanics over the years because as we all know, a good mechanic is hard to find, and I am loyal. I know how busy it gets and I know how hard it is to deal with customers, but I need a mechanic I can trust. They did give me a goodie bag with swag, though, so that's something.

my old mechanic retired and as the time came for my old honda to get some routine maintenance done i went to tim's. the mechanics were great, provided a 'general health report' (not their term) on my car, and were able to get it fixed up and ready to be back on the road quickly. great music in the workshop to boot. and you get a gif tbag with a koozie and some candy when you checkout. :)

Tim's is always great. Brought our 2005 Corolla in to prepare for a drive to Montana. That is how much we trust them. Got the same Corolla prepared for our Montana trip in 2022. Functioned perfectly in mountains and heat. Always trust Brian.
