I think getting late night staffing is causing them delays with service late at night but everyone I encountered with my prescriptions tonight were very helpful.

Both this one and the one on Veterans at Bonnabel closed early on the same night due to staffing issues. Bad look when 2 of the 3 *24-hour* Walgeeen's in Metairie are closed at late hours. Also, upon leaving this location I saw 2 employees inside, one ringing up the other, while there was a sign posted on the door turning customers away due to "staffing" issues. Another bad look

Horrible service. Light skin older guy with white beard always on phone with the worst attitude ever. Make him stay home

Horrible horrible staffing in the pharmacy. No matter what day or time I come there’s at least 10 people in front of me because there’s only ONE person working. You would think they’d have more than one person especially during rush hour?

This rating is about corporate, not the employees. Every employee I've encountered has been great.Hopefully the new CEO will spend a few extra dollars on pharmacy staffing. No matter what time of day it is, there is ONE clerk on the register. On top of having 5-6 cars in both lanes of the drive-thru, there were 11 people in front of me in front of me to pick up scripts. I expect a brief wait, but 30 minutes is unacceptable. The wait in line at Walmart is 5 minutes max because they always have 2-3 clerks. I had to use this location due to it being 24 hours, but never again if I don’t have to.

Horrible pharmacy service. It's usually never ready when they say, they lose your meds and have to redo them and they make you wait forever on the phone if you are lucky enough for them to answer. But then sometimes you get lucky and every goes smooth just like it should but not too often.

I spoke to most amazing woman at the pharmacy of this store. I can’t tell you how much she went above & beyond her job to help me resolve my problem. You are now my new Walgreens pharmacy because of her. I forgotten her name but you have mine, please look up who I talked to, she’s the best. Nancy Williams

Negative stars if I could. Pharmacy kept me on hold for over an hour then hung up when it was my turn. I’d recommend everyone to not use this Walgreens location.

If I could give this Walgreens a 0 I would. The pharmacy is terrible. I normally go to a local pharmacy, but I thought going here would be convenient. Wrong!!! I’m having bad periods and possible peri menopause so my doctor prescribed me birth control but I have my tubes tied so I technically don’t need them but he said it could help. Go through the first month went to refill and it said I couldn’t get it filled. Saw I had 11 to refills and I only had one pack in the bag. Once I realized it I called they said I need to bring the pack in. They were supposed to give me a 90 day supply. So I did and they said it looks like you have a different brand then what you are supposed to get. I said whose fault is that not mine. The girl said let me talk to the pharmacist. She comes back and says you’re going to have to come back tomorrow because we have to look at the cameras to see what you took because she says you probably lost them or misplaced them. I said they weren’t in the bag. She said well you have to come back. Well, I won’t be going back and I will transferring the prescription somewhere else that isn’t incompetent. Glad it wasn’t medication I need to live.

FYI, I just found out that both Walgreens and CVS have started putting your drugs in BIG bottles that do not fit in your dopp kits due to them being be big pharma inconsiderate idiots. Surely trying to cut costs. I apologize for blaming this pharmacy for it. I have never had issues with them before. Since I do not have time to wait for them to put them in the correct size bottles when I pick them up, I have no choice but to switch to one of many smaller customer friendly pharmacies we have. Hopefully, if Walgreens loose enough customers they will stop this nonsense?

As a patient, I've had terrible experiences with this location. Refills are never ready. No one ever answers the phone and you will be on hold 40+ minutes to talk to someone. Staff are rude. I'll be taking the time to transfer perscriptions to another pharmacy tomorrow. As a prescriber, I also have lots of problems with walgreens in general, including this location, and have advised patients towards other pharmacies in the area when they ultimately have difficulties with their prescriptions as well.

The pharmacy has really gone down ever since Katrina ,but the last two years it's very bad .they at times don't have your medicine on hand and needles and syringes are usually not in stock .they take forever to answer the phone .and I've had doctors tell me they never got the request for authorization for more refills ,if it was one doctor I might believe it , but it has been multiple doctors for different medications. It's so bad I'm thinking of changing pharmacy and taking my business elsewhere .and the phone system to reorder your medicines is a joke after putting in multiple medicines you get the message I'm sorry but I will have to connect you with someone that can help ,if that's the case get rid of the phone system and just let me talk to someone to begin with.

Come here to Walgreens at 4501 Airline Dr. It's horrible. They always take too long. Whether the store is full or empty, it doesn't matter, it takes too long. I don't know why they are so slow and they see that there are many people waiting in line and they don't put people one more person to move the line forward and on other occasions it has been empty by myself in line and I have had to wait an hour and a half for my medications and right now I just left the store because they don't do anything to make the line Go ahead and it's not really the store, it's the employees who work very slow

I just waited in line in the drive through for 30 minutes. The first cars sat at the window for 15 minutes without moving. My prescription was supposed to be ready, according to the app, 15 minutes before I got to the window. Once I finally got to the window, I was told it wasn’t ready and that I needed to drive around to get back in the line that was again very long. She told me that I couldn’t just sit there and hold up the line. Isn’t that what the people in front of me did?? Not happy.
