The location at 4545 West Esplanade is woefully understaffed or comically slow. I have never had an issue with staff as the staff always has provided friendly service, however, day or night regardless of the time of year you will wait. Expect a minimum of 20 minutes at absolute best. It is hard to believe that this 24 hour hub, right next to a full sized metro area public hospital, could be so poorly run. This trend is not a new experience or a situation run amok from post-COVID operation mistakes as this location has run at this pace for at least the last 8 years. One customer service person working the counter and one working the drive through is not going to cut it at this time or any other. Walgreens, what will it take for this pharmacy to be staffed to meet the needs of your customers?

The pharmacy is the worst I’ve ever been too, disorganized and it seems they intentionally mislead folks with “I don’t know” and “have you tried the other Walgreens store”.Also, I would like to mention the area around the pharmacy is filthy, there was gum on the wall and the area hasn’t been swept or mopped in quite some time. I would not recommend.

Had an appointment to get hepatitis b shot. When I got there they didn't have the shot. And didn't try to find out if it was at other locations.

The pharmacy is terrible. The workers are rude and the place is understaffed. They keep messing up my Rx and insurance info, which has not changed in 10 years. My wife has covid and they delayed her medication because they needed more info. She called and they never did tell her what additional info she needed, it was just some manager having to do an override. I have been sitting in the drive-through for 15 minutes now waiting my turn. I can’t wait to see what happens when I get up to the speaker. We will be changing pharmacies very soon. The rest of the store isn’t much better. The employees are rude and they frequently have out of stocks on common items. I’m done with Walgreens.

I went there aftwr waiting for one hour and i have a approve that medication been e sent to this pharmacy the pharmacist said she didn’t receive anything after i went back after 2 hours later through the drive through they had it ready but with one medication is missing how unpleasant the pharmacist who works there are

The pharmacy tech I talked to had zero interest in trying to help me refill a prescription for my patient. If you don't want to do your job, just say so.

I call because hospital forgot a prescription to see if they have it call at 10:36 the guy answer the phone was extremely rude because I didn’t know the milligrams of the medication since I’m waiting for the clinic to be fix he’s answer to me was if you don’t know the exact name of te medication and the ml just don’t call… in a rude voice… so I have my wife just getting out of ICU without pain killer and I also have to deal whit this peace of S. Person that have no manners or sense of humanity.

Very slow, very unfriendly. No indication of how long you will wait, and you'll be treated rudely the entire time.

Walgreens on West Esplanade has a pharmacist who is quite rude. They refused to refill one of my prescriptions that I've been getting filled there for over a year. I'm changing pharmacies because of this. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Took 25 minutes to pickup a prescription through the drive up with one car in front of us. Complicated issues should not be handled at the drive up. Clerk was tasked with loading an App on to the customer’s phone. Drop off and pickup only. Then get rudeness. Act like they’re doing you a favor.

One star...I read the other comments and my experience was pretty much the same and possibly worse. From what I can tell corporate most likely doesn't care. If they do I'd love to help you make your store a better customer service environment.

Called my prescription in at 10am. Still not ready at 4pm. Said it will be another 1.5. Awful service. Will be finding a new pharmacy.

Always loved going here it's been mad place to pick up my prescriptions for 20 years and I'll be my place to pick up my prescriptions for another twenty years cuz they got Cheryl's said procedures and your great staff at every location.

This pharmacy is horrible they will give you a partial prescription (3 tablets )without ever letting you know. They send refill requests to the wrong Doctors and take days to fill prescriptions. Do not Rely on this pharmacyIf you're going out of town because you might be out of medication. I advise everyone to stay away from this pharmacy it's a shame that we can't even benefit from them being open 24 hours because it's gonna be slow or incomplete no matter what time you go. I wish they were a negative star option I would deduct stars.

If they have zero star I would give them that. Long lines , no one answer your phone when you need them. And bad attitude.
