My dad entrusted this shop with his beloved Scout “Penny” to be fully restored before he became ill. After my dad passed away, my mom took on the responsibility of ensuring the restoration would be completed — fulfilling my dad’s dream.
She has now paid this shop over $80,000, plus ordered and delivered countless parts separately. Despite repeated assurances over the years, the vehicle has barely progressed. The owner even admitted that they were prioritizing other projects because my mother had already paid in full — an absolutely unacceptable practice.
Each month, she drives to the shop only to be met with new excuses, requests for more money, and broken promises. This is dishonest, exploitative, and predatory.
It has been 3 years of lies and emotional turmoil for our family. If I could choose zero stars I would.

Hollenshead charged me $9551.. after tax it was out to $10,554. Why am I paying an additional tax on a product you ordered from Summit Racing?
After sitting in their shop for 3 months, I decided to pull the vehicle out due to additional pricing they wanted to charge! The engine backfires, the radiator had to be replaced, it has a fuel leak and the AC is still inop. These issues were ongoing while the vehicle was in their shop. This shop was paid $28,000 to fix these issues…
