Rented a Tahoe at Detroit airport for four days. Received a Suburban instead of Tahoe. Charged me $1,378.25 for four days. Clerk told me not to fill up with gas when I bring the Suburban back because Avis has the best gas prices in town. Charged me $231.39 for gas. Brought Suburban back early morning before flight out. Ask girl at gate where to take car and she pointed didn’t even speak. No one was a drop off area. Asked bus driver he said just leave keys in vehicle. It’s hard to find people who want to work. Got another bill today from Avis for $450.00 because someone smoked in the vehicle. I am telling everyone about my experience with Avis. Take an UBER

I would give 0 stars if I could. They have no customer service workers working the kiosk. I waited close to an hour before they returned. I will never book with Avis again.

Beware of extra fees after you return. Even when you call and ask about the extra fees, they will give you bogus excuses for why they had to charge you. You've been warned.

Our rental car broke down from what appeared to be an alternator failure. This isn't Avis's fault, but the way they handled the situation was terrible. -We sat on the side of the road for over 4 hours waiting on a replacement vehicle or tow truck. -Eventually we had to be towed with the rental car to the nearest airport. This added another couple hours to this ordeal. -Weeks later the rental company filed a claim against us for windshield damage of about $1400. The car didn't have any damage when the tow truck took possession of the vehicle. The car was dropped off in an Avis maintenance lot at the Little Rock airport without any damage. Their own lot and vehicle coverage would cover any damage that happened after the vehicle was no longer in our possession. Beware. If something goes wrong that is their responsibility they will try to pin this on you.

Very bad from the start when I called to make my reservation. Avis at Monroe airport open only till 10pm.. flight In at 10 30.. flying from California... renting car for week.asked for late pickup.. person I talked to said they get back to me in 72 hours for confirmation. Never did, had to call back.. request denied. So I rebooked for next morning when opened... had to stay at seedy motel with cockroaches. Cost more money. Here's where it gets worse, when I got to pickup counter.. they would of waited for me on late arrival on original reservation,but person did not input my flight info... screwed me.. lost a day and cost me more money cause family 45 mins away. Then on return of car.. charged me extra 113 dollars without explanation...had to call THEM AGAIN TO FIND OUT ONLY TO BE TREATED RUDELY AND THAand told it was for CLEANING FOR POSSIBLE HAIRS, MAYBE ANIMAL. FIRST OF ALL ONLY MY DAD AND MYSELF WERE IN THAT CAR...NO ANIMALS...I SAID I WANTED PROOF AND PICTURES... NOTHING YET... DOUBT I WILL SEE THEM. So basically got screwed BIG TIME bunch of different ways.

Ridiculous! Reserved a car for the weekend weeks before arrival. After a long day of traveling I attempt to pick up car and what do you know!!?? Avis has overbooked and no cars are available. SOOOO FRUSTRATING

Do not rent from this location, as they do not honor the rate that is quoted. They will call you less than 48 hours prior to your rental and tell you this. The owner's name is Jonathan Scoggin and his phone number is 318-631-1839 extension 150. They also are Budget rent a car as well as Avis rent a car.THINK TWICE BEFORE RENTING FROM THEM AND THEN THINK THREE OR MORE TIMES AND GO TO ENTERPRISE, HERTZ OR NATIONAL. THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU VERY WELL.

I rented a car after mine was in the shop. The car had a broken windshield on the drivers side. I go back into the office to try and get another car. They said they knew about the windshield and it was on the paper I was to fill out on the milage. I called back the next day and told someone else about the cracked winshield. I was told again that they knew it and it was documented. I turned the car back in after 5 days. Only driven about 184 miles. I checked the car over for any type of scratches. The car was cleaned and filled with gas. When I tried to get someone to come and inspect the car I was told they were busy and would do it later. They give me my receipt for turning it in.They asked me to take the car back to the parking lot where I got it. I did after reminding her again about the cracked winshield. Now 5 months later I get a letter from an Insurance representing them telling me I had caused damage to the car which was a broken windshield.

The location had different hours than what is posted on Google Maps. Make sure to ask before going there, otherwise you might have to wait.
