Well, I having to go to my mother-in-law and show her how to operate the remote at least once a week . She is 94 , and hard of hearing. So I will do what I can.

Very fast and reliable internet for this north monroe customer. My only complaint is the ISP offers outdated technology and uses IPv4 instead of the new IPv6. This old and outdated IPv4 apparently causes excess latency than its newer version IPv6. If you're a gamer or anyone using data intensive applications, this internet will not be for you. Otherwise its been great.

We live pretty much in the woods. We could not get any of the main provides to service us out here. We decided to try Sparklight thinking they would be iffy. Pleasantly surprised at the customer service as well as the internet service. It's stable, fast and affordable. Would definitely recommend them.

In an area where satellite internet is king, Sparklight is lighting up the northern areas of Louisiana. Hybrid fiber means slow upload speeds but at the end of the day most people only care about the upload speeds. Sparklight delivers. Currently on the 300mbps plan, I'm averaging around 2-250 from my wifi router. I've had zero drops and service. I've called tech support twice and both times was handled with care, quickly, and effectively. All of that at a price point consistent with other vendors in the area with way slower speeds. If you need internet, Sparklight it it.

You changed the cable to streaming at the end of 2022. This forced anybody that did not have a smart tv to buy one. There is a lot of older people in the area and on a fixed income. I called today to get another fire stick for my mom and was told that they only get 1 free fire stick per household. So, not only was she forced to buy a smart tv if she wanted to watch tv, but now she can no longer watch tv in her bedroom or sewing room without forking out more money for another fire stick. If there was other options for internet for her she would not have Sparklight. Maybe I need to look into Direct TV. You people suck. Don't ask me to call to address this issues because I spent 20 min on the phone waiting for a supervisor.

This internet service goes down more than a mineshaft elevator. This isp has a harder time staying up than an 85 year old man on depression medication. The most expensive, worst internet I've ever had. I'll be so happy when I no longer live in theor service area. Even Comcast was better.

After they switched from cable one to sparklight my bill doubled.I live by myself and my bill is 106.00 a month ...When I moved they left the cable on the ground after install and my Landlord thought I was stealing internet .I had to call them to send someone to bury 50 ft of cable to my home.Now my internet has been out for a week and I'm about to bring them their modem and say farewell to sparklight.

I work from home. Sparklight is the ONLY high speed internet on our rural area. This company has cost me over $2300 in lost wages $330 day x7 since moving to the area in December. At least 1-2 times a month we lose service with on average once a month being more than 12 hours. In the past 7 days we’ve been down 3 days ($990 in lost wages this week alone). Is there any resolution or even customer service assistance…. No…. I’ve gotten $20 in credits for 2 of the 7 days. Can they tell me when the service will be reliable. No. They by far are the most expensive of companies I’ve had, yet their dependability is just not there. It’s sad that we are considering selling our new home and moving to an area serviced by AT&T high speed so that my career is not jeopardized.

Sparklight was unavailable for several days. That was disappointing. And the router lost its brain once and had to be unplugged. Otherwise it's been working fine.

Saleswoman lied to me about the cost of plans in order to sign me up for a more expensive plan and boost her commission. Randomly shut off my service despite my online account showing no balance due. It’s nearly impossible to talk to an actual agent on the phone - absolutely awful customer service.Would go with a different provider if Sparklight didn’t have a contract with the apartment complex forcing all residents to use Sparklight if they want internet.
