The Staff i met there is awesome. All of them. I made good friends with many of the people that stayed there. AA with Ms. Marcelle on Monday nights is very helpful also

Salvation Army of Monroe is the best. Homeless shelter for men, women and children. Serving 2 meals daily.

I have called this place for a couple of days no one never answer the phone and today they pick up the phone and hang up this has happen 3 times back to back they answer say nothing then hang up I would love for someone higher up to reach out to me to help me understand why this is happening

I was in a domestic violence situation. I WAS NOT leaving my 2 pups. All I had was the clothes on my back, no where to go and no money for food for us. I was turned away bc of my pups. We slept on a mattress that smelled of urine and stale sweat in an alley for days. They didn't make any offer of food for us. My pups are God's creatures too! Hippocrits!
